Royal !
The location is fantastic, overlooking the beach at the Moulleau with the Cap Ferret Lighthouse in the distance. We both had soup for starters, my companion had a hot delicious butternut soup served over wonderful mushrooms while I had the house shellfish soup which unfortunately was lukewarm. The scallops were very good as were the spinach and the raspberry sorbet delicious. Overall good with some dishes better than others.

We had take away on several occasions and it was always fresh and tasty. The restaurant was 2 minutes away from our hotel so in the first occasion we ordered for convenience as we we tired after travelling but it was so delicious we went back twice. Always busy with both deliveries and eat in. Fresh food , fast service.

My wife and I together with our daughter and two grandchildren had lunch here. There are several of this type of restaurant along the Arcachon frontage but having sampled most of the others, we liked this one the most. As well as the usual fayre of mussels done in numerous sauces, they also have some really good fresh fish. We had some excellent cod and the children had really tasty pizzas. For dessert we had café liegeois, a beautiful version of this popular sweet, a colonel and the children had ice cream. Service is efficient and friendly and unlike some of the other sea front restaurants, the tables are reasonably well spaced apart, so you can dine in some comfort. Although this is a large restaurant on the seafront, you will probably have to wait for a table if you come at lunchtime after 12.30pm. When we left at 2.00pm the queue was still 6 or 7 people long.We paid â¬125 for three adults and two children not including drinks and felt this was good value for money given the quality of the food and the position of the restaurant right on the seafront.

Le Bassano is a approx 15/20 min walk from the main town but is easily ambled via the boardwalk which takes you straight there. I'm so glad we did venture down there as we'd become a little tired of the very average food in the town itself. We didn't book, were seated immediately and had the best food of our stay. The children's pizzas were the best we had in France. Our starters were amazing, risotto balls were light and so tasty, bresola salad was gorgeous. I also had fish for main and it was perfectly cooked. Service was great too.Decor wise its a bit Hackney, industrial trendy - we liked it - it's a perfect place for people with families too, casual but really good food. Highly recommend.

Maybe I'm a little romantic...expecting the staff of an Italian restaurant to understand orders placed in Italian...but never mind. The staff is friendly and quick. The food is very convincing. The pasta with Pesto was great. The Pesto was fresh and tasty. The pizza was delicious. A well chosen mix of the thickness, a proper cheese and cooked to the point.Definitely a good place to stop for lunch! The atmosphere of the open space in the back is very cost. The whole place is very clean.

This pizza is cross between NY and Rome. My favorite is the vegatarian with REal mozerralla and artichokes, mushrooms. It s good even cold in the morning., My family is into pizza I even make my own, but this one is equal to John s on Bleeker street , but Here the ingredients are fresher
