We were told that we could use the swim ladder to snorkel. We couldn't believe it ! We parked our car by the sidewalk, walked through the restaurant & down the swim ladder. We saw tons of huge Tarpon below the ladder. The water was a comfortable temperature, and clear. We had an easy swim to the Wreck of The Cali. There was only one cruise ship anchored out. There were some little boats & water taxis running around us, but they would wave to acknowledge that they saw us. The swim back to the ladder was tougher due to the current, but we made it , but only after I was swimming so hard to stay on course and lost my snorkel & mask. luckily, I didn't drop my underwater camera !!!!! Thank you to Rackams for allowing tourists to use their sturdy swim ladder, which deposits you right into the clear blue water !!!!!

What great staff we had the pleasure of having during our stay here at the Marriott! Our poolside service during our stay from Myles was outstanding… She was extremely attentive and professional and remembered everyone’s names each day, including our favorite drinks and foods!

Our waitress Nikki was just so helpful. My wife requires a gluten free diet and Nikki was back and too to the kitchen to make sure that she could have what she wanted. The burgers are excellent and the Cobb salad very fresh.Washed down with some shell shock IPA as part of their specials this was worth seeking out and the service was 5*

The pizza selections are awesome and the atmosphere at this restaurant is very welcoming! Our server: Karolin was very attentive and provided exceptional service allowing us to try samples of the island’s beers to allow us to decide which ones we liked. We highly recommend this spot and their GodFather wood oven pizza!

Veranda’s Ambience, Sunset Ocean Views, Delicious food and excellent service by Mary Ann made for a fabulous wrap-up to our 6 days “Dream Vacation” on Grand Cayman in Sept 2019.We had The Pan Seared scallops and Octopus Panecotas for appetizers the octopus on a bed of crispy fired savory plantain was surprisingly tender and had a truly unique mild yet earthy flavor.The entrees we enjoyed included their world-famous Paella Grilled Grouper in a Creole Sauce with Bak Choi and also Seared Red Snapper with small potatoes and Shitakes and finally a unique Seafood Bouillabaisse with Fresh veggies that was an homage the the chef’s grandmother recipe- I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Grand Cayman Spend at least one night with the friendly staff at Veranda on seven mile beach.Dear R2D2-CamperVan, thanks for your review of Veranda.
