Great place,,went for breakfast after dropping my boy to school staff really friendly and poached eggs with salmon unreal,,I couldn't believe amount of salmon I got on plate I couldn't even finish it,, amazing place and I know where to go from now on and value is unbeatable like coffee fresh squeeze orange jus and breakfast for less than 20 euros amazing

As a visitor to Dublin it is always good to be taken by a colleague to one of their favourite restaurants and Sparks proved a great choice. Close to the office we will definitely come again! I had a perfectly cooked salmon steak with asparagus wrapped in serano ham, cream sauce, crushed potatoes and mushrooms with onions. Divine. The fish could not have been better prepared and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Compliments to the chef for creativity and presentation. The place had a modern bistro vibe and the staff were really friendly and rightly proud of their cuisine and wines.Hi John,Thank you for this fabulous review, really appreciate your kindness to describe your dinning experience @ Sparks. Laura is a brilliant at what she does, really funny and an obvious people pleaser, the desert she recommended was absolutely amazing. Not entirely sure what the red bits on top were.....but nice anyway. She was very approachable and attentive. Hopefully one day all staff in all Claytons will be just like her.

We hadnât a reservation and the place was throbbing. Spoke to a waiter who sorted us a seat - thank you David who also guided us advisedly through the menu. The special rib of beef was exceptional and my wife loved her chicken. We also next day had a cheeseboard which was also faultless. Location wise opposite the main Connelly Train Station this is an exceptionalRestaurant. My wife and I stumbled upon this place while walking around Dublin. What a gem! The soups are absolutely amazing and filling. The bread on the side was fresh and tasty. The service is top notch - it's busy but they keep the line moving. Highly recommended!

I stopped here for lunch on a Thursday. Although the restaurant was very quiet, it still had a nice atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and the food was amazing. I had the goats cheese starter and the pig belly main. Wine was really good too. Will definitely be back to try some other dishes... Thanks!
