I've been coming to Red Chilly regularly during my 4 months in Manali. These guys offer good quality food at reasonable prices. I love the momos and can't get enough of their chilli sauce.It's a family operated business and you definitely feel like you are getting real home cooking. There are 5 small tables to dine in and takeaway is also available. I've tried a number of restaurants in the Manali area and this is one of the places I keep coming back to.Perfect place to grab a bite for those staying on the opposite side of the river to Manali town.

We only came here for the momos since a friend had momos here a couple of years back and really wanted to go back to try them again. Well, yes, they were the best momos that we had in Manali but nothing too extraordinary. Can't say much since that's all we ate here.

The food highlight of our Manali tripA super cafe with great food located far away from the bustling crowds of Manali. It boasts a really great menu consisting of a few Mediterranean dishes along with burgers and pizzaâs, their deserts were literally to die for! One perosnal favourite of mine that is a must try is their fresh mango milkshake. The service was great, the staff there were super friendly and helpful, offering some good spots to explore in the valley. I would highly recommend this place for friends and family looking to spend a lazy afternoon. Its also a great place to explore the surrounding forests while your meal is prepared. They also offer some great ATV rides and breathtaking views from the rooftop of the cafe. Will definitely return to Big Bear for another meal in such a beautiful location, loved it!!

Chinese dishes are fantastic here. The chicken manchow soup I had was superb I did not have that type of soup in whole of Manali. Ingredients are very fine. Preparation is very good. Restaurant is a bit congested but overall a very good eating experience. Noodles and Amercan Choupsey were also very tasty

Definitely the best place to be when you are in Old Manali. Whether its the day time or the evening or even late at night, this place is always buzzing with energy due to an amazing ambience, great food and superb service.You have sufficient choice to sit outside adjacent to the river (at a height), indoors or even on the rock top by the river side itself.You can spend the whole day lazing around ordering beverages/drinks of your choice and a great cuisine from the expert chefs.Services also include Sheesha/Hookah and it seems quite popular with the younger lot.This has been my 2nd season at Old Manali and I have had most of my meals at The Lazy Dog and I must say everything tastes great and the service is always with a smile.It is a must drop-in if you are in Old Manali.Thanx for such wonderful memories @ The Lazy Dog.

We reached Drifter's cafe quite early in the morning straight after our long journey from Delhi. The cafe wasn't open yet and the staff was still cleaning, but looking at our tired faces and heavy backpacks, they offered us to sit in the cafe, kept our luggage in their office and served us a quick tea. We spent around 3 hour there and had a great time. The owner & staff was very polite and friendly. I had the grilled trout, which was excellent (although served with bones unless you request the fish to be filleted). I particularly enjoyed the accompanying grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes.If the inside (which looks like a log cabin) is too loud, you can also sit al fresco by the river.
