We were staying in the hotel and decided to try the restaurant out. The menu has both Asian and western food but unlike some small local restaurants where food can be average, the food served here is actually very good! Would recommend the chicken and cashew nut stir fry and the green curry. Restaurant itself is based outside the main hotel but fully sheltered and really lovely relaxing atmosphere, the staff are also from the hotel but very friendly and helpful. Really great restaurant if you want some cheap but very good Asian/Khmer food.

This eco-initiative is SO MUCH MORE than a cafe. Our tuk-tuk driver brought us here saying we might be interested in an ox-cart tour, we went along and were treated to the most amazing 1 hr+ tour. The cafe and it's business, but then a tour of the rice paddies by ox cart, with a guide regaling local mythology about sheep mountain and crocodile mountain. Informative interludes about rice farming, palm oil, tamaring fruit, then a stop by at a local workshop seeing rice noodles being made and sampling the fresh product.There was so much more - we were blown away by our afternoon here. If in Battambang, come by and check it out.

The Balcony is a lounge night bar in a lovely traditional woodhouse with a balcony and a beautiful view on a jungle garden and Sangker river. During happy hour, from 5pm to 7pm, you can enjoy the view on the river at sundown.

Jerome and Remy are amazing guys, this bar is just out of town but a must visit. The atmosphere and vibes are incredible. The prices are moderate, the food is good but come for the crowd and ambience

Was in need of a beef fix so headed over to KCâs as they had good reviews. The place was deserted but the food arrived swiftly and looked good. The chips and coke were fine but I really didnât like the burger. It tasted more like veal than beef and part of it was completely uncooked in the middle. That might be the style here but for me it was nasty. Dear Mr Pickle in Wimbledon,Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry to heard your bad experience about meat.We always serve Beef patty 100% beef and well-done Burger, Usually it is not uncooked in the middle... It is probably a cooking mistake, I will speak about it with the Chef.We apologize for the mistake and the inconvenience.I hope you'll come again to taste our food to keep a better experience about our burger.

This is the kind of vegan restaurant I love most: an unpretentious place making good quality, affordable vegan comfort food which can go toe-to-toe with the best non-vegan restaurants. There are about 7 different pizzas on the menu and all of them sounded delicious. I opted for the potato and caramelised onion one and it did not disappoint. Great base, perfectly cooked with good quality ingredients. The potato wedges were superb as well - like, top 5 greatest I've ever eaten quality. And to top it all off, Tom Waits was playing in the background. You can't ask for much more, really! It's a shame I had to leave early as I was really hoping to try the chocolate espresso dessert.I've been to a bunch of vegan restaurants in Cambodia so far, in Siem Reap and Battambang, and this is my favourite so far. I genuinely wish I could set up a version of this restaurant in London as I think it would do excellent business there.

If youâre in Battambang do yourself a favour and go to this restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible. Itâs fresh, flavoursome and just beautiful. We had the Banh cheo and it was incredible. I think what makes this place even more special is the owner running it. The owner is so ridiculously friendly and welcoming. She took the time to come over and chat to us and talk about her cooking and how she learned it etc. This cafe is 100% worth the visit! Youâll want to eat there after night after.

Nice rooftop bar if you are a backpacker wanting to meet other travellers. Food is okay and drinks the same. The staff is friendly. The hostel on the other hand is really nice. The rooms are relatively spacious and the sanitary equipement is clean and well equipped. Each room has is a/c.

Afterwards we should have stayed over for many extra nights. What a great place to stay. The houses were nicely designed and well equipped. Big rooms and bathrooms. The swimming pool is a delight in the middle of a beautiful garden. Dinner is great; you definitely donât have to visit town for that. Very nice and friendly staff and owners. I guess they understand what tourists are looking for. On fixed hours they even transferred their guests to the center and visa versa on request. Credit card are accepted.
