The Mughal Knight is excited to have arrived in Clare, the historic market town with fascinating history and outstanding natural beauty.
This place is amazing, we had been let down at The Bell Hotel and found this restaurant, in need of a good meal we were not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and looked after us in the most wonderful way and the food was delicious.Thank you Mughal Knight you are certainly one of the best place we have ever eaten in.

Visited recently for dinner. Attentive and friendly service. The mixed starter was good with nice flavours, the onion bahji's however were not to the same standard, more like shop bought. The mains were tasty and the lamb in particular well cooked. My only criticism perhaps was that the sauces looked like a stock sauce, so in fact the Balti and the Rogan Josh tasted exactly the same. That said they were very nice and were quickly consumed. The bill then arrived, and I was surprised what good value it all was, not the rip off that some other places would have been.

We came on a Saturday evening with six of us, while the were really busy. They were very quick with our food and drink but the food was incredible and the wine was superb. Although being really busy, the restaurant was very clean and tidy, I could not fault Memsaab. We would recommend this restaurant to all of our friends if they are looking for some fine Indian cuisine.

Great service here with (mostly) well flavoured dishes and a good range of Lassi drinks. One of the main dishes didn't taste so good; the Lemon chicked has over sweet -more reminiscent of a Chinese dish than an Indian. A shame as everyhting else was very good.

We found the service and food poor to very average! Very disappointing as we had heard and read good reviews on this restaurant and its Indian cuisine. The Tandoori Chicken Tikka was poorly cooked and tasted terrible, not fresh and the Lamb Bona was very average. The table service was poor too. We were not asked how our food was! Will be voting with our feet and will not be returning - shame!

Outstanding restaurant set in a modern contemporary outlook within a grade II listed property. For a great dinning experience visit Cafe Massala
A short notice booking online resulted in another superb meal at our favourite Indian restaurant. The service was friendly and light hearted, but attentive and quick on a very busy Saturday evening. The standard of food just gets better and better with generous portions and stunning flavours. We will return.Clive and Jan.
