Went here on the recommendation of an ex-government official who i had golfed with earlier that day. Had a seat upstairs in the aircon section with my family.Service wise, they are good at treating their customers.Food : Tried the fish head curry as it is the recommended dish. Not much meat at all, unfortunately. The curry was tasty, though. Bit pricey just for curry.Their fried fish was much better. I would give this an 8 out of 10.

We ate here a few times as a family during a recent trip to Kota Kinabalu. Having tried some of the other Indian offerings in KK, I can emphatically state that this was by far the best Indian vegetarian food we ate in Borneo during our 2 week long trip. Although vegetarian choices on the menu were limited, everything we tried, especially the fresh juices, was amazing. My daughter has a severe coconut allergy which can be a source of concern when eating out but the restaurant made sure that she was well looked after. The location was also convenient with plenty of parking spaces available both at lunch and dinner times when we visited.Dear Valuable Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to write us this review. We're indeed very appreciative and glad that you and your family enjoyed dining with us. We hope to see you again on your next trip to Kota Kinabalu. Have a nice day.

I had a mini family gathering yesterday at Latest Recipe. The sumptuous hi-tea was well spread and adequate to cater to those with discerning taste buds. From local to western cuisine, it was awesome! I, for one has a sweet tooth - was absolutely delighted with the vast desserts range and each of it was savoured and sampled with a grin on my face. A special shout out to Mr Roger Juis who is the Venue F&B Manager. His impeccable and warm service in ensuring the perfect arrangement was greatly appreciated by my family and I. The service staff was prompt and you can be assured of a top notch service with a smile despite the restaurant was running on full capacity. Highly recommended and would certainly pay another visit in the near future. Keep up the good work!!!Dear Emelia, Thank you for choosing Latest Recipe Kota Kinabalu and for taking the time to review us! Thank you for the excellent full 5/5 star rating! We are very happy you enjoyed the weekend high tea with us and loved the desserts wonderland and our hospitality with special mention to our Mr Roger, our restaurant manager. We look forward to celebrate many more occasions with you! Regards, Jacqueline, Guest Experience

Food tasted nice. Value was reasonable if not exceptional. I am a wheelchair user and upon leaving the waiter had to move a hostess trolly full of plates and baskets for access. When this moved there were several cockroaches that scurried away. This made me nervous that I was going to get sick fortunately this did not happen but upon reflection I am still not satisfied that the plates were so close to the critters lurking underneath.

Amazingly simple honest India food served on a banana leaf. Tasty and cheap. Would certainly return next time in KK

Within the Shangri-Laâs complex so expect their pricing. But with this caveat, had their set meal - very good food and a decent set of tapas style dishes that in total is also a good quantity. Very good service. Whilst not cheap this was reasonable value overall as included a drink and desert and the variety of dishes. They also swapped out some dishes as I did not like one of the options.

Had the excellent butter chicken and bread basket. Really enjoyed the meal and service. On a par with any good Indian restaurant in Northern India. You will not be disappointed by whatever you order as judging by the reaction of our fellow diners all were enjoying the food. Hi Paul. Thankyou so much for your kind compliments and encouraging words. It was our pleasure to serve you and very happy that you enjoyed dining in at Mother India. Our chefs are from India and specialize in authentic Mughal cuisine. Warmest regards, Mother India Team
