Just love this place and have eaten here with a group of girlfriends for dinner and, on a few occasions, as a pre-theatre treat. They have great food options and cater extremely well for non-meat eaters and all dishes are very tasty. The staff are fabulous and always ready to answer any questions and/or offer great menu choices.They are aware of people being under a time-constraint if dining before a show and we cannot wait for our next Opera House performance and returning to the Spice Room for dinner first.Make sure you book as always very busy.

We were looking for a place with vegan options, as two of our daughters are vegetarian, and the other is vegan, so we settled on Itihaas, as Parramatta is pretty central to all of us. We were pleasantly surprised by the choices, understanding many places can't/don't cater for vegans, and we had decided all six of us would eat vegan to make sharing dishes easier. There were enough vegan options to allow us to order five different mains, rice, and two breads, and all the food was delicious. My favourite was Rajasthani Bhindi, "a delicacy of tender baby okra sauteed with mango powder and tomatoes". the service was excellent, and Happy Hour from 5 -7pm with $5 Kingfisher beer added to the night. Can recommend the house Shiraz, also. We'll be back!

Have tried different items of their menu all together and really enjoyed them. Took our order even though we were too late. They tried to serve us their best. Chefs are working hard to cope with the volume of orders, no doubt.

I love an Indian meal and was not disappointed with this restaurant. It was busy but service was great and the menu choice excellent. Portion size was just right and the taste and flavour spot on. Next visit to Sydney and we will return!

The restaurant is on the Liverpool Road in Burwood and getting parking can be a challenge. The food here is awesome and authentic Indian. We had the vegetable platter, assortment of breads, village special chicken curry and paneer kurchan. All of them were lip smacking good.The ambiance is ok but not fine dining. The service is very friendly and prompt.

The best Indian restaurant I have been to in Sydney! As a person of Indian origin I was amazed by its authenticity. The food is well and truly authentic to its Indian roots. The softest Naan bread and the loveliest of Paneer Makhni gravy was a truly wonderful combination. Authentic delicious food, some very attentive Indian Waiters. Lovely Decore, love the very oversized glasses. View of the passing parade and fire station at The Cross is the best to be had. Weâre regulars, it was so lovely to meet The Restauranteur last evening whoJails from Kerala, in Southern India where weâd visited a few years back. LOVED INDIA.Parking can be tricky. However Kings Cross Parking Station is a five minute walk.
