Dudu Miah opened the new business after a successful 10 years managing the nearby Sunam Tandoori restaurant. His time there saw the Sunam serve such high profile names like Sir Ian Botham and in 1998 the Prime Minister Tony Blair, his wife Cherie and many
We have visited several times before and enjoyed the whole experience i.e. Attentive service, good food, Star Trek decor. However, we were quite taken aback by the bill this time as it was about 20% more than we expected (based on similar meals and drinks in other Indian restaurants that were have visited on the Fylde coast and interesting nationally.

What a lovely hidden gem this is, I went with my friend Mandy for Saturday lunch not knowing if we could or couldn't have an Indian meal (lunch) after looking on the internet as part of a day out...... 3 courses later for £9.95 each plus drinks and we were blown away. The food was fantastic, the service was top, friendly, inviting and very pleasant. The window was dressed with pictures of milkshakes and burgers which I thought was doing the restaurant no justice whatsoever for the fantastic Indian food that it served.... if you happen across this cafe look past the pictures and head on in and try the Indian food.... I'm heading back to take my family. Excellent

If you love a good curry, and live or are visiting Blackpool area - this place is a must visit. Ok, on first impression from outside, you probably would walk on by - it needs a little updating - but trust me, theres nothing wrong with the food! We went here on a quiet Wednesday tea at 5.30. The phone never stopped ringing for take away! Very popular place. We were the only couple in and although we did have quite a wait - we were happy to sit and sip our wine anyway- the waiter was apologetic but we told him please dont worry, hoping the time meant everything was getting cooked fresh from scratch, and when the food did arrive we were not disappointed! My husband had asked for his madras to be cooked a little milder as sometimes it's just too hot - it came perfect!! I had asked for my vegetarian dish to be more sauce as opposed to stodgy veg - perfect! The waiter guy, Cal?, I think he said was top class. He was so nice, polite and attentive all on his own too! Please visit here, the food really was fab and we are here for a week so I defo will be back! Had no faults at all with the food or staff, but please dont be put off by the lack of modernisation , you go to a restaurant for good food not a swatch at the wallpaper!!!

This is a very good Indian restaurant in Blackpool, the tandoori chicken here is pretty good and the prices are cheap too. They have a large variety on the menu, like curries, biryani, lots of vegetarian options, rice dishes, milder dishes like masala and finger food starters. The staff were very efficient and the service was good. The restaurant is not that big, but there is a nice atmosphere to it. You are allowed to bring your own alcohol which is great. Overall pretty good Indian food with a lot of variety.

We visited on a Tuesday night and was surprised how busy it was. The woman server asked if we had booked, but we hadn't. Even though the restaurant was busy she managed to fit us in. ( would recommend booking before going ) The food was absolutely delicious THAI, Indian. Nepalese, to name a few and was cooked fresh. there is everything you want in a buffet restaurant and more. The price was unbelievable good value to, it came to £30 for two people with 2 pints of Lager. In any other buffet restaurant you could add another £10-£12 on top of that. A massive well done guys we will be back.Dear customer,Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a kind review. We're so pleased to hear you had a great dining experience with us (we would definitely recommend booking in advance too!) and that you found the pricing to be very reasonable. We look forward to seeing you again soon!Kind regards,The Gurkha
