Rukka Lodge is a beautiful hotel in Quito, just 20 minutes from Quito international airport, 25 min form Quito downtown, we are within Garden House, a complex surrounded by garden, where there are 5 restaurants and a wellness center, tempered pool and private parking.
Great restaurants and friendly staff
Reviewed By Sightseer642239We spent 3 weeks at Rukka and used it as a base to travel. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and the restaurants and gardens were good. There was no reception and very little English spoken. We had family locally to help us as this wasn’t a possibility from the hotel staff.

Nice hotel, great value and good restaurant
Reviewed By stu2303We stayed here for three nights in total, before and after a trip to the Galapagos islands, and used it as a great base for exploring Quito, as well as being closer to the airport. The hotel was nicely decorated and the rooms were good - especially for the price. For the final night we had a room with a jacuzzi in which was a great luxury. The restaurant located within the hotel was really nice, did good breakfasts and we ate several other meals there which were all good (and the service from Mohammed was great). The hotel also arranged a half day city tour for us (also going up the equator line park) which was really great (our driver Pablo was excellent), and the staff also let us borrow their mobile phone as we waited for around 2 hours to get through to Avianca to change a flight, which was exceptionally kind (thanks to Martin and Michelle)

Ilatoa Lodge is a perfect place to rest and admire nature just 20 minutes from the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito and 30 minutes from the Historic Center. Ilatoa is a small boutique hotel wich features 6 spacious rooms. It is located on the slopes of the Ilallo volcano, where our guests can rest and enjoy a spectacular view of the valley of Tumbaco & Cumbaya.

Reviewed By Terri455We stayed here before our journey home and it was a wonderful place to relax and the owner was very kind and helpful and gave us suggestions for what to do and arranged all of the travel. The grounds are very scenic.

Amazing place - amazing service!

We were greeted by the owner Marco already at the door, and he was so kind to show us around his beautiful newly renovated hotel and share the story of the hotel with us. The hotel is placed in the mountains with an amazing view of the city and it is beautifully decorated - very original. The rooms are very spacious. We had to leave early in the morning and a lovely breakfast was still prepared for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone qoing to Quito.
