Do not book anything with sunshine holidays they just lie to get your money the hotel elimar is a total building
Reviewed By John WIt’s just a building site and is nothing like the website check my pictures for true likeness but I blame SUNSHINE HOLIDAYS they knew it was like building site and took my money and said nothing knowing I was disabled I was confined to my room the whole of the stay and tried to contact sunshine holidays but just fell on deaf ears hoping I would go away so thanks sunshine holidays I will never use your company again

The MARIA CRISITNA HOTEL is situated in the region of the Axarquia, in la Cala del Moral municipality of Rincon de la Victoria. Being only a short 10 minute drive away from Malaga centre, its position is ideal for trips into the City centre of the cultural provincial captal of Malaga (old city with Picasso Museum and Birth House, thyssen Museum, The cathedral (Ma manquita) and old fortress, port, botanic garnes ect. But asol for visit to the nearby famous Caves of Nerja or for excursions into the surrounded by impressive mountains with especially beautiful natural park (ideal for walks) and enjoys an extremely good climate. Our hotel has recently been fully refurbished in an andalusian style decoration, it includes a nice 24h Cafe/Bar set in a typical andalusian "patio" surrounded by exoctic plants. As mentioned before, the beach and promenade with those typical "Chiringuitos"- Restaurants are only a short 50m walk away but also for relaxing sienta hours or lovely mild evenings, you can enjoy our roof terrace with lovel sea viaws, equipped with table and chairs and sunbeds.

Reviewed By wilmab549My husband and I stayed here for a week mid-October.The hotel was spotless from the reception to the bathroom.We had a very comfortable room with a great balcony.We only had to ask once for/ about anything and it was immediately sorted. The breakfast is Continental but there is a great selection to choose from.There were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room but there is a cafe on the ground floor and we enjoyed coffees which we got there and brought to our veranda to enjoy.There is also a super roof terrace with plenty of chairs/ lounges to relax on. With a short walk to the beach and terrific walks we enjoyed the sunshine and atmosphere very much.We were yards from a bus stop which takes you north to other towns/ villages and south to Malaga. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - it was a little piece of Heaven. Thank you to the staff who were exceptional.

What a treasure tucked away.
Reviewed By bullterrier48Upon arriving we parked our car underneath the hotel and were offered a drink before we were shown to our room. The room was extremely large with two comfortable armchairs, plenty of cupboard space and a beautiful bathroom. Upstairs to the rooftop pool and cafe, lovely views and the coffee was very good.. good sun beds and all this done with spotlessly clean room and communal areas whilst keeping to social distancing.. the area around has lots of fish eateries and tapas bars. One road back from beach. Breakfast was excellent with orange juice and as much to eat and drink as you could want. The staff were charming and helpful. We had 3nights here and we will return.

Reviewed By noblandTrès bon séjour . 20 mn en bus du centre et 5 mn de la plage à pied et piscine sur place. Chambre au calme et confortable. Petites attentions de Nuria et son accueil agréable. Supermarché 5 mn à pied. Logement très propre.

Reviewed By ChouquetteOnTheRoadI chose this pension specifically for the 24h check-in (due to late arrival flight), the wifi and the parking space (for the rental car). The place is a bit far from Malaga (further than I imagined), but it is great for for its quiet aspect. The guy who received us in the middle of the night was very nice and helpful. My husband had to work from his laptop and the plug adapter (for UK connection) we had wouldn't fit so he managed to find us one. He offered us two cans (beer and Coke). We asked for the breakfast and for only 3€/person, we were so happily surprised! We had a gargantuan meal with fruits, juices, hot drinks, cereals, toasts, cheese and even donuts! The room was big with a separate desk part (great in my case so I could go to sleep while my husband was still working), very clean, the bed was a bit hard but comfortable enough. The bathroom was newly refurbished and it was really pleasant. The boiler is small so if you fancy long hot showers it might be a bit tricky, but it heats up again directly after use (not on timer, or once a day). The checkout was supposed to be done by 11:00 but as we arrived very late we dragged for breakfast and left the room around 11:30 without any complaint from the staff. It was a great little stay in a pension I would definitely recommend!
