Reviewed By lauracastagnetoThe hotel is not in the centre of Paimpol and it is about 1 km from the nearest bus stop so I recommend it only if you travel by car. Breakfast is rich and with good quality. The hotel is made by bongalows plus a structure with ground and first floor.There is a picnic area just in front of the rooms. The nearest beach is 10 minutes by walk.

You can get some drinks in the garden, so peaceful. It's at the heart of the small town, parking is easy and you can walk to stores and restaurants nearby.

Great location for a quick taste of Brittany
Reviewed By Vincent MBooked a room with a view on the sea, facing the Brehat Island. The view is very nice and it’s fun to the see the magnitude of the tides. The room was very clean and clear, with all amenities needed. The breakfast is with very fresh bread, pastries, home made jam… The spa is also nice very clear due to large window and of good size, it’s also very clean. The location is perfect to go to Brehat over the day or take a hike to Paimpol along the coast, a very charming path.

Reviewed By jcolombelWe enjoyed our three night stay at this family-run hotel. We had the small but cozy room on the top floor. The hotel is conveniently located -close to the ferries to île de Bréhat and restaurants in Paimpol. There is a restaurant in the hotel but we didn’t have dinner there, just breakfast.

BEWARE!
Reviewed By cccustardI was going to write a fairly disappointed review of this place until I discovered something that is much more important. Overnight there are no staff in the hotel and the front door is locked and another door behind that is also locked by key to secure the bar and reception area with no access to clients. Access for clients is through the rear door which again is by key. There are two fire exits at this stage, one being the rear door, the other being on the first floor from the outside terrace. So, if there is a fire in the vicinity of the rear door the only escape is from the first floor - the two front doors being locked without electronic release in the event of fire. On the first floor terrace there is a gate to the fire escape. This is difficult to open - my wife couldn't do it but I could with effort. Once open there is what can best be described as a contraption activated by the yellow handle - see photos. There are no instructions so I checked on the web to see how it worked. Apparently a ladder furls out. How an even moderately disabled person, a pregnant woman, child or mother with babe in arms could get down this is a distinct worry. The drop is about 20 feet. The terrace is above the rear of the hotel (where the fire could be) and the drop zone therefore also adjacent to the possible fire. There is only one fire extinguisher on the first floor. There was no smoke alarm in my room and therefore guess in none of the other rooms.
