Beautiful place with a old hotel building issues.

Swimming pool with garden well kept but water in the pool was in the beginning of our 2 weeks staying very cold and temperature just close to 20 celcius. Guard in the pool noticed me taking a photo of the daily ph, chlorium and temperature board so water was swimming worthy next morning. Room has issues, balcony door needed much man power for a sliding. Noise insulation is really weak, there was upstairs customers really keen on walking with shoes all night along. Flushing toilet was alike water fall beside your bed. Room outside door lock and door function are both really noisy . Balcony railings were made on water tubes and corners, didn't feel really strong. Breakfast was tasty but it was prepared to VEGAN people, only ham was found in the buffet. Location, in the end of La longuera maybe problematic to families with a strollers and elderly people. You have to be prepared walk a lot and up to down hills. Bus stops to Puerto de la Cruz is 600m away. There is no pool bar , just small shop in the lobby you can buy a drinks. We missed this option. No view to Teide as it was told in booking.com. If you stay here, request the highest floor apartment in the B wing. Best position to afternoon sun and silence at the night time.

Lovely place
Reviewed By PatrycjaFigurskaWe were staying there for 7 nights with our 2 kids. Really nice and very quiet place. Lovely and helpful staff. Very clean. Beautiful view from balcony. We were only eating breakfast at hotel but there was a good variety of food to choose from. We would be staying there again if we go back to Tenerife.

Better than expected
Reviewed By Edward KWe stayed here 10 days with a group from Spain with IMSERSO, the Spanish cheap holidays for old folk scheme. Before we went we thought it would be a pretty average experience at best. Itś fair to take account that this is a rather old three star place with affordable prices. In itś favour, the whole place is immaculately clean; the staff unfailingly polite and friendly and very hard working; the food is not haut cuisine but there is a wide choice of hot dishes which change daily, and a well stocked salad bar. Some reviews slate the breakfast but there are eggs, bacon, baked beans and often delicious cooked tomatoes, and there are cold cuts and fresh bread rolls. What not to like? The location is not brilliant, outside the small town of Longuera, and there is no local beach. However there is an hourly free bus to Puerto de la Cruz where there is plenty to see and do. An oddity is that the rooms have a kitchen with a hot plate, a kettle and a fridge-freezer some crockery and cutlery, which we had no idea about till we arrived, but it proved handy for making coffee.

The terrace has a wonderful view and it's a pleasure to cook, eat and chill there (but you can also cook and eat inside it the weather is not good). The house has a very peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. But the best thing about this place is not a thing - it's people ! It's hold by a family and these people are the best I met on the island during my trip ! They are always ready to help, to give some information, to make you taste some local food and just to share some great moments together ❤️ So, don't even hesitate while looking for a place to stay ! Also, the region is perfect : it's calm but not far from La Orotava with all historical stuff you can discover and Puerto de la Cruz with a lot of tourist attractions. And there are a lot of paths to hike all around, at the coast or in Teide park. Highly recommended ! ??

Reviewed By marcelo66_13Really nice place in nice location. Not far from everywhere. Owner Carmen was abiable on whats app. So was really good. Breakfast was easy but taste. Room was clean with nice decor. Pool and garden was also really nice. Dont understand bad reviews.

Reviewed By kellyo760A beautiful traditional spanish hotel located in the hills over looking the ocean . What a hidden paradise it is here. Very attentive staff, service. Accomadtion comfortable, clean, set in beautiful ambient surroundings. As tranquil and as peaceful as you want it to be. We hired a car and was able to travel around some days of our stay to see the island. Other days we stayed here had breakfast, continental and lunch and evening meal. Out side bar, open early till late, indoor swimming pool. We had arrived late in the evening and had forgotten to pack plug converters, in the morning the director had been and purchased us some. So grateful, nothing was too much trouble. We was looked after exceptionally well, and catered for, for us individually. So much admiration for all staff here it's been a very romantic, peaceful break. Keep up the good work, if you want to give me a job ? I will accept. So sad to be leaving but will be sure to return Thank you so much ?

Birthday Stay
Reviewed By 256graemebA good 2 night stay for my Birthday. Booked through Secret Escapes, we had a Suite with Sea View @ £80 per night, Half Board. The Suite was originally 2 bedrooms & the 2nd bedroom is now a very comfortable lounge, & we had the benefit of a bathroom each. Suite was clean & comfortable, though the furniture was a bit dated. The Reception staff were very helpful & let us check in early, & supplied us with an extra Wifi code, as each code only covered 2 devices. They also organised the Car Parking @ €8.00 per day. Restaurant & Bar staff were very efficient & nothing was to much trouble for them. The food was good, (though there could have been more choice of Evening Main Courses), all hot food was hot & replenished regularly. Salad choices were very good & fresh. Good choice of Hot & Cold Brekkie. Bar Area was comfortable. Gardens were very extensive & made for a lovely stroll after Dinner. Overall we had a Great Stay & will certainly consider staying again.
