The second time we have had the pleasure of staying at the Saltbush Retreat. We booked a Homestead Stable after such a wonderful experience the first time. The attention to detail of the decor is outstanding. The bed is comfortable and kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. Can't wait to visit again.

Luxurious Glamping for 3 nights in Longreach was such a treat. Thankyou Katrina and Brett for making our stay so magical. Beautiful breakfasts delivered to the tent each morning. Sunsets and Sunrises were perfect. Tents were very well equipped, beds soo comfortable. A stay to remember

This boutique accommodation is inspired by the pioneer era. Situated in the heritage heart of Longreach, it has a choice of room styles, all with ensuites, AC, TV and free Wi-Fi – plus pioneer-inspired features and quirks that create an unforgettable sense of place. It is owned and operated by the Kinnon family who have a reputation for creating unique accommodation that tells the outback story.
The Stables, what a great place to stay. Loved the rooms and pioneer decor was so authenic. Very quiet and comfortable and a short walk to everything in town. Highly recommend staying here when you visit Longreach.

This hotel is expensive at $258 per night. The rooms were dirty, no fly screens on windows or the sliding door. The room smelt like sewerage. They have recently painted the rooms and there was black paint all over the floors. We had booked for 2 nights and unfortunately had to stay the 2nd night. The only thing that was serviced when the room Was cleaned was that the bath mat was changed. Beds weren’t made and no clean towels were left. I do not recommend this hotel at all. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and this would have to be the worst one. An extremely bad experience for longreach.

For a room costing appox $179 per night you are in a Donga / container and have to use a communal toilet and bathroom. Dirty conditions. None of this is explained in the ad and there is better value for money at accommodation in town. I strongly suggest considering other options.

Fully licensed restaurant and bar on premises (summer hours are reduced, contact us for more info). Large resort style pool, with kids pool and cold spa attached. Reception hours are from 7.30am to 8.30pm (summer hours may vary, contact us for more info), free internet available in reception. Set in unique bush surroundings.
Inn was placed closed to most attractions in Longreach. Modern by most standards. Parking available outside each unit. Large center with a pool available for guests. Email provided prior to arrival with entry details to the room. That was helpful as the person at the desk was reluctant to attend to guests. Rooms good size with TV however no cold water or ice in the room. No phone in room. Room did not have relevant number of glasses for guests in the room.

This was the worst place we have ever stayed at! We were eventually moved from a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 nights to a motel room because the loo was blocked. The cabin was $330 a night and we were advised that we might be entitled to a refund -we didn’t expect this to happen and it hasn’t. At $330 a night we expected more than curtains hanging off the rails, one knife for four people, etc etc. The location was near the main drag but right by the pub so was noisy at night.
