I read from several people the elevator was slow.... but this was beyond slow. We thought we were stuck inside. You had no idea it was even moving. Going from the 2nd floor to the 1st took about 3 minutes. Other times, it took 30 seconds. The GM emailed me to say its been fixed since our stay, but man, we really thought we were stuck in there. ANYWAYS, the room was nice and big with a couch and king sized bed, nice and big Samsung TV, WiFi worked OK, shower had decent pressure, but you really had to crank the hot water to the max to get it hot. Bed & pillows were comfy. I used the jacuzzi/hot tub which was OK. Jets could of been a bit better and a tick warmer water, but still a nice and relaxing time. Did not have the free breakfast. Staff were friendly enough, easy check in/out. Location is fairly easy to find, close to a bunch of things, and downtown Leesburg, which has a very slow speed limit. I'd return to this property as long as the elevator is fixed.

From the minute I walked in I felt welcome! The room was very comfortable and quiet. Scott at the front desk was friendly and very helpful getting familiar with the area and the inn. I would definitely return if I am ever in the area.

The breakfast bar food was cold and tasteless. The hand sanitizing supplies in common areas were usually empty. The front desk staff were not very friendly and when making request they responded like they were being bothered.

This hotel is cheap to say the least. The rooms need renovations. The room smelled weird and I just wanted to open the window. There was a mildew smell they try to cover with bleach. No ventilation for the bathroom. There was odor coming from the sink. The AC did not help.

Staff was very pleasant but everything in the room was sticky. I used the hot water dispenser to make tea and it spit hot water so far that I burned my foot. Definitely leave the dispenser on the provided tray if you use it because water gets absolutely everywhere.

When booking this hotel my expectations were so high. Speaking with the manager Frankie a handful of times prior to booking was an absolute pleasure. Nice, genuine, caring, and very informative. The reason for this stay unfortunately was a funeral for my wife's cousin who happens to be a child. So our visit was not supposed to be enjoyable. We just needed a place to unwind, rest, sleep and not worry about anything. Upon check in, pulling up to the property we were please. Very well manicured FRONT of the property. Frankie the manager was exactly how he was over the phone. Pleasure. Unfortunately it all stops there. Let me start off by saying a few things. I paid $103 a night. Which is not expensive what so ever for what I have paid in the past. My expectations were not 5 star but u did expect at least a 3 star. The property is very very old. Yes the rooms were redone but old doesn't necessarily always mean clean. You can only clean old so much but still looks dirty. The layout of the hotel is huge. It's an absolute maze. Even with the map provided the lay out was crazy. The rooms were updated but not as clean as I wanted. Bathroom toilet dirty, shower dirty, window frame was filthy and had a wash cloth wedged in between the frame to keep noise of rattling wooden window frame from making noise due to ac unit shaking it. The beds were old, and hair under sheets. We called and immediately it was addressed. Then we pulled back the sheets again, and another long black hair in bed. The parking was terrible. No parking in front of hotel only on the outskirts of the hotel. Yes they are closer to your room but to access the amenities of the hotel you'd have to drive. The grounds in the back and sides of the hotel where you look out the window were terrible. Fast good garbage and beer bottles on the grass. Overall very disappointing. We checked out of a 2 night stay only 2 hours into our stay and stayed at a property 3 mins up the road for the same money, less amenities but immaculate. Customer service was the only thing carrying this property from the moment I called to the very end of my stay as they did not have an issue refunding my money. I wanted this to work out but it did not.

Four stars for friendly staff, breakfast and central location. One star for the room. It was small with old and worn out furnishings, a threadbare curtain & no shade on the tall front windows, a bed with a terrible mattress, an outdated bathroom with a difficult to flush toilet and water temperature suddenly changing unexpectedly on occasion from hot to cold. The whole place looked worn out and needed a paint job. The lighting was very basic; only one bedside lamp and one glass in the bathroom. Our room was in the front of the building - we were there on a Saturday night and loud partying from all the bars on the street kept us up until 1-2am. Happy that the room was only up one flight of stairs; no elevator. I would return for breakfast but we will never stay here again should we find ourselves in Leesburg.
