Reviewed By teresamW5690IDAs a business owner who sent a customer to a motel in a small town. Found it to be a miserable experience. The pricing was different than online shopping. The real problem was after speaking with the General Manager to help her offer a better experience to her customers, she did not want to listen to the problems that occurred during the customers stay. She had no time. Her employees did not come to help the young woman so she could watch the television she paid for. When she got to the room and waited for it to be cleaned, she walked in and the BUGS covered the bed. She called and waited for the maid to come back and finish cleaning the room. Really bad experience all around. If your stranded in La Grande OR you do not want to stay at this motel in my opinion. Jennifer the GM has more to learn to run a good business in my opinion. What a world I live in. Just because someone has treated you wrong does not mean you need to treat others wrong. Change the world and do good.

Not clean or inviting
Reviewed By PatriceD97341I stayed here while doing a road trip around Eastern Oregon. The room I had was pretty bag. The bed was saggy and there were several dark hairs on the top sheet. There were no blankets on the bed, basically it was 3 sheets. There was no extra blanket or pillows in the room either. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and the TV remote stopped working after about 15 minutes. (not a battery issue) My sister's room smelled like urine...REALLY badly. We were both VERY happy to get out of that place and would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone!

Reviewed By ChristineGreggThe filthiest place I have ever stayed. When we left after night 1 and asked for the room to be cleaned, we returned and it was still filthy. Sad my dog had to walk with his bare feet on the floor. We asked for the dog fee ($25/night) returned and they gave $25 (half). Horrible experience!

Reviewed By Climber669654The room was not clean as advertised on the reader board outside. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets were old and stained. The walls were filthy. The housekeeper had to come and sweep the cobwebs from all around the ceiling and get rid of a spider. It is an older motel, and in disrepair. We appreciate a budget hotel, but cleanliness could go a long way. We should have left and rented another hotel room, but we were tired and it was late. I would not stay there again, unless they clean and repair it. It was not the cheapest room in town either. The staff was very nice and helpful.

It's SO DISGUSTING! first room, I thought maybe the floor was stained but a damped Kleenex revealed just how filthy it was!!!! My husband went to the office to get maid service to come clean. She looked like a deer in the head lights. "What do you want me to do"? She says! ? Showed her the pictures and told her a new room is what we need.! Ok so when it's 9:00 and you're exhausted and, the bathroom doesn't look quite as bad, not far from it though. You decide to just close your eyes and pray no need bugs are there. Pray that morning comes soon and you can,"get the hell out of there"!!! I'm not overly particular, I realize it's a gamble when you're away from home. It's a gamble what any night's going to be like but, this was Way beyond what a person should tolerate when paying big $$$ KEEP DRIVING or just sleep in your car. The whole place is a DUMP! First pics of, first room. Best ones of the second one.
