Bathroom is a little small but room is good size and air conditioning and safe free of charge. Staff are amazing can’t do enough for you. We had a massage this afternoon and would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel pool was one of the cleanest I’ve ever swum in. Great choice of buffet breakfast even including a lovely lady who made us an omelette on some mornings. The room was exceptionally clean with a kettle and fridge in our room. Special mention to Panayiotos and Christost on receptio who made us feel very welcome when we arrived and were so helpful as we were hot and tired.

Welcome to the world of the Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash Resort , an oasis of tranquility and relaxation on the South coast of Cyprus, in Paphos. The Hotel is situated on the sea front of Paphos, a few kilometers from Paphos city centre. The Hotel is one of the few Paphos hotels with a west-facing outlook that provides guests with a sublime view of blazing indescribable sunsets. Amongst several other Paphos Hotels, Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash Resort, is a leading Hotel which can meet the needs of all travelers--families, couples and business people. During the winter period 17/18 the hotel has gone through major renovations in the public areas and guests' rooms and many more amazing additions. The Splash water park which is one of the biggest water park situated within a hotel's ground. Moreover, all restaurants and bars have been renovated giving them a modern look with frameless windows for the amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea.
We've just returned from Laura Beach after a fabulous 10 day stay. We arrived late due to flight delays but check in was still fast and efficient. We were offered a drink in the bar (even though the A/I times had finished) and a sandwich, though the sandwich wasn't great. We had 2 interconnecting rooms, though if you closed either of the interconnecting doors, they locked and could only be re-opened by hotel staff, which we found a little odd. The rooms themselves though were lovely. Modern, clean and with beautiful sea views. Both had balconies, fridges, safes and air con. One had a bath with overhead shower and the other a walk-in shower. Food in the restaurants for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was buffet style with plenty of choice. We found Breakfast a bit repetitive but I guess there is only so much you can do with this meal. The snack bars are open from 10.30am-5.30pm and offer some great food. Freshly cooked pizza's and pasta in the Italian along with baguettes and salads. The snack bar by the pool we used, near the water park, served kebabs, chips, burgers and hot dogs. All of which were lovely and in ample supply, great for the kids! There is also a swim up pool bar serving soft and alcoholic drinks, included cocktails, which are all included. The only downside to this bar is, that although it is a swim-up pool bar, you are not allowed to drink in the pool. The lifeguards will let you stand in the pool and and drink at the bar, but not any further away or on the side of the pool next to the bar! Most pool bars have stools in the water for people to sit and and enjoy a drink. Seems a little odd and most people don't really understand the rule which the lifeguards seem to spend most of their time upholding, when their time would be better spent watching people in the pool. The staff at the hotel are brilliant. The bar staff were lovely and always had a smile on their faces, despite working some long hours. Zoltan & Nicoletta were particularly great. The housekeeper that cleaned our room each day, Galina, was also lovely and did a great job. You can get a bus from just outside the hotel to Pathos harbour for 1.50 Euros, which takes about 15/20 mins. Be warned though, they still require you to wear a facemask, despite restrictions apparently being dropped. We were refused entry on 2 different occasions as some people in our group did not have a mask. Overall, this is a brilliant hotel and well worth staying at on an all-inclusive basis. The best bits: The staff Great selection of food and drinks English plug sockets in bedrooms (no need for adaptors!) some of which have USB ports for phone charging The worst bits: A swim-up pool bar but you're not allowed to drink in the pool! 90 Euro's for a late check-out (6pm) felt excessive

Please I implore you not to stay here especially if you are travelling with children! This place has changed so much since I stayed here a few years back, and believe me not for the better! It is not a good start when the entrance to the complex is so poorly maintained that the pot holes could rip the bottom from your car. We were travelling as a couple and arrived in the room to find it spacious and clean so that was ok. we then discovered that we had been provided just one tiny hand towel between two of us and there was only one thin pillow each on the bed. we were leaving to go and get some food so called in at reception and asked them for an increase in both towels and pillows which they begrudgingly said that they would do. On return that evening we discovered that they had given us one bath towel each and one extra pillow also. We decided to go to sleep.... and then the noise began! the apartment below ours did nothing but drag furniture all across the floor! (couldn’t really understand how they could make that much noise or for so long considering there is barely any furniture in the room to speak of. This continued non-stop until about 2am! the next morning I went to reception to explain about the noise and was met with a very aggressive attitude because I had already dared to ask for extra towels and pillows. He said he knew who it would be and would speak to them (obviously had complaints before then I imagine) as the hotel seemed unwilling to help on our final night before happily walking away from that place (scraping of furniture continuing til 4 am) my partner decided to go down and confront them himself. He knocked on the door and was met with about 8 to ten men sitting smoking and playing cards. he asked them to stop scraping the furniture down, they said yes and waved him away and it did seem to ease up (although not stop) after that. It does seem that the majority of these apartments are not used as holiday accommodation but as residential premises for workers. Anyway i could make this into an essay but in short I will highlight the problems we occurred some of which are a fire and health and safety breach and what I consider to be dangerous: the smaller points were: the plug in the bathroom by no way fitted the plughole rendering it useless and the bath unusable except for the shower part TV did not work no cleaners present leaving us with the same towels for a week and for us to have to restock our own toilet paper More serious and in fact dangerous issues to be made aware of: the "gym" (if you can call it that) there were no signs up advising on the correct use of the equipment, 2 of the machines were broken and therefore should have been removed. although they were not labelled as broken! there was an exposed light fitting on the wall, and the only light came in from outside making visibility almost non-existent! Half of the electrical sockets in the apartment didn’t work and several were loose on the wall the balcony door doesn’t lock and doesn’t shut securely either so the people on the next balcony would be able to just step over the small partition and walk into our apartment. But now I come to the points that are most serious and in my opinion flout fire regulations and health and safety laws on an epic scale the fire extinguisher in the communal areas such as the corridors were empty and should have been serviced years ago! the extinguisher in our room likewise , hadn’t been charged and overdue its service fire alarms from the ceiling had been removed and the fire blanket box on the wall? completely empty so absolutely no fire cover in a 3rd floor apartment! the final straw? the hypodermic needles we discovered lying by the outside bins I ask if you are looking at going here that you very seriously consider going elsewhere. i would hate someone else to endure the miserable time that we had.
