Reviewed By dranki295536Very friendly and helpful owners and staff who went over and above to help. Very convenient location to visit friends in a nearby village. Willing recommend the Clos Fleuri to friends. Beautiful looking pool but unfortunately wwe were too early in the season to make use of it.

Reviewed By david mIn our recent travels in France and Spain we’ve noticed how much improved some Ibis Styles are. This hotel is no exception. Clearly benefiting from the passion and dreams of its ex-international rugby player owner, the hotel is friendly and comfortable. It also serves very good food and both dinner and breakfast were good. Car parking is ample and free. We hope to return.

Reviewed By Jenny PFrom the moment we arrived until we left, the welcome and service were first-class. Our room was spotless, the linen fresh and the beds unexpectedly comfortable! We felt breakfast was good value for money (selection of juices, teas or coffee, viennoiserie, cheeses, fruit, cereal and yoghurt). The safety standards relating to COVID were impeccable, plenty of gel dispensers and advice on social distancing, contact tracing etc. We particularly liked the proximity of the restaurant next door which had a reasonable, varied and delicious menu. We cannot recommend this Ibis more highly. We visited several times over a 14 day period during a house move, and hope to return under less stressful conditions!

Reviewed By Karen PVery friendly staff found a table for us, a group of friends, on a very cold day in a busy restaurant. The food arrived quickly, the service was friendly and the food was generous and delicious. We would all be happy to return on our next trip to Carcasonne.

Reviewed By peterdT5648FThe hotel is dingy and run down. In the middle of the night the bed collapsed as the wooden slats of the base were not secured. We had to put the mattress on the floor. We were accused of breaking the bed. No apology from the person running the hotel. He was exceedingly rude and unhelpful. There were however 2 women employees who were helpful. The facilities were basic. Very poor value for money

Nice but a bit noisy
Reviewed By UlfLesStayed for one night on our bike trip throughout Canal du Midi. Big rooms, good beds, nice staff. The restaurant is supposed to be good, even though we did not try it. When we arrived the streets were fairly empty, but during the night it was very noisy outside with fast cars and motorcycles containing screaming young men, followed by police cars with the sirens on. Luckily we were all very tired after our bike ride....

Reviewed By Lisa HWe stopped in castelnaudary on our way to La Rochelle. Wonderful evening meal. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is basic but not expensive. Very central location. There isn’t a lift so ask for the first floor if required.
