It's all about convenience at Premier Inn Hotel Livingston Bathgate. With such great transport links nearby, it's a breeze to zip off to business and leisure destinations in Edinburgh or Glasgow. But it's not all about the bright lights. Hunt for hot designer bargains at MacArthur Glen Designer Outlet. Get a breath of fresh air at Beecraigs Country Park. Uncover Scotland's heritage at Linlithglow Palace. And when you're ready to unwind, enjoy a hearty meal in the restaurant just next to us and relax in your extra-comfy bed.
Upon check in - there was no one there Room was decent, standard Premier Inn - good for everything I require Woken up at 1230am with a driver loading and unloading goods for the hotel via the fire exit door which was right next to my window on the ground floor - the company was called Ellis Transport or something like that. I could then not sleep for the duration of the loading/unloading and was unable to get a proper night sleep ready for my work and extremely long drive home the following day (I stayed here on business) There was no one to raise this to at the time and to be fair which hotel loads and undloads products during the middle of the night outside the guests rooms. A complete lack of awareness for the customer/guests - I'm sure I wasn't the only guest to experience this that night. I will not be staying here again.

We had a fantastic 1 night stay here. Lovely clean and bright room. Mary the owner was very welcoming, interacting with our little boy making him feel comfortable. Cooked Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a selection of yoghurts, fruits and cereal. After 2 disappointing nights at the Hilton in Edinburgh this was a delight and I wish I'd booked here for the entire weekend and travelled to Edinburgh. The Gables will definitely be first on our list of places to stay next time we have a visit.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights in mid May 2022 as I was in the area on business. From check in on Sunday night, the evening staff were friendly, welcoming (the only person whose name I got was Allie/Ellie who found me an iron) and a nice start after a 6 hour journey. I had dinner in the hotel which was very nice and the food others had in the restaurant looked good too. The room was small but functional - bed was comfy, room was clean, shower was hot, dresser/desk was useful and wifi was fine. I had breakfast both mornings which was excellent and different staff were equally friendly/chatty. Cost for 2 nights b&b was around £100 and I thought excellent value. It’s not a Hilton, but I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend stopping here to others.

Eco Friendly site with Hausboots, Pods and Lodges
Just returned back home from a three night stay at this new development booked by my son with the new Manager Esther. I was welcomed by Esther and shown to my accommodation. Stayed in one of the new houseboats. Extremely clean, and modern. So peaceful floating sitting on the front deck with no one else but the family of swans and goslings for company. I was one of the first to visit this newly opened resort and will definitely be back. Esther explained to me that they are at the very early stages of this new business and that there are several stages of development. There is 5 houseboats and two pods with hot tubs sunk into decking overlooking the lake at the moment. There is big plans for lodges more boats restaurants spas. Plans are in place for more boats, touring caravans, an aquatic park, a pets corner and lots and lots of other things. I can tell that this will be a big project and could feel the vision of the site as Esther explained everything to me. I was attracted to this place because it is eco friendly so it is not the pristine and cultivated resorts that others are. And this felt good that the place feels natural as this encourages a lot of wildlife to draw near. This place brings you back to nature. Esther I know that you are only at the very early stages but I thank you for such a wonderful peaceful time and for recommendations on nearby places to eat and supermarkets for groceries. I will book with you direct next time once your phone lines and office is operational. Thank you again for a wonderful time. Margaret

No one told us this is a pub with rooms above. Even the entrance is in the middle of the pub, you stand there with all your luggage between drunken people? karaoke night was terrible, we couldn’t sleep at all. The bartender forgot us to hand over a code to open the door, it was really dreadful and we had no rest at all. We booked this “ hotel” because we had to fly early from Edinburgh AirPort , never again! Drunken people outside yelling and smoking underneath your window, I wish they mentioned us this while reservation......oh, and they claim to have WiFi , but the bartender told us that it was worst and not working up in the rooms?
