Room and surroundings were nice but don’t eat there. The english breakfast I had was the most disgusting breakfast I have ever had. Bacon swimming in grease and the cheapest possible sausages you could possibly buy were raw. The staff just said we have cooked them for a long time and that is how they are. Cold in the middle, soft and squishy and pink says raw to me. Several people complained and no one ate the sausages. Tea bags must also be the cheapest bargain basement. Absolutely foul. I didn’t eat there again. Shame because the experience could have really nice

Set in beautifully landscaped gardens on the edge of Axminster, Kerrington House has been lovingly and sympathetically restored retaining many period features such as marble fireplaces and fine plasterwork ceilings. Decorated in soft neutral colours, the hotel has been furnished with relaxation in mind, and favourite pieces to suit the mood of individual rooms.
Spent a week in The Porters Lodge at Kerrington House Hotel, Axmouth. Our accomodation was great, the sitting room was very spacious with a good amount of comfy chairs. Wide screen TV. Patio doors leading out to garden, with a table and chairs. The kitchen was well equipped, with a cooker, fridge and a dishwasher, toaster and microwave. Really nice touch with the dressing gowns in the bathroom. Fiona was a most lovely host we would certainly stay at The Porters Lodge again. Fiona's dog Beatrice is a lovely cuddly Newfoundland. So easy to get to Weymouth, Lyme Regis and the coast.

A35 Pitstop is under new management since Summer 2014. We provide accommodation with single,twin/double and family rooms with cafe/restaurant facility. We are delighted to inform our customers that our rooms are under refurbishment as a part of our continuous evaluation and upgrading of the standard. They overbooked our room. They had other rooms available but they were more expensive. We could stay in another room or two separate rooms if we would pay for it. So they made a mistake and we would have to pay for it. We didn't stay. Now waiting to get our money back.

This place is great value for money, we stayed 2 nights in jan and had a great time. Beds and bedding and very comfortable, as is the living room which comfortably fits 4 adults. The apartment is very well maintained and the owner Greg is very helpful.
