Fairly hotel but forget breakfast
Reviewed By 841debisThe hotel’s location is great. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. However, we’ve stayed here several times since this newer Holiday Inn opened in Asheboro, and the service and breakfast are much worse than the older hotel was. The hospitality and breakfast are non-existent. We are. club members with countless stays here and in other locations. It seems like the new management always has an excuse as to why the breakfast is subpar. Seriously— no milk or even cereal? No cinnamon rolls, the omelets were put in the warmer right in front of us, and they were cold. Coffee was good, but that’s it.

Reviewed By williampP1414WCThe rooms were clean the breakfast was good minus the horrible coffee. The location is convenient and staff is polite i only wish the pool was heated. I also wish they had better coffee and creamer options but I would recommend this hotel

Reviewed By mikex2017Stayed in a larger suite. Room was huge, check in was smooth and they give you free tiny waters. Walking distance to a sports bar. Pretty standard Fairfield inn. If you're here on business, it's a no frills property that gives you a functional stay.

Entering through the side door cigarette butts all over- carpets are dirty-bathroom is dirty- walls have stains on them.
Reviewed By 40pamsThis place looked pretty good on Expedia as it turned out it doesn’t match the reviews. This place is in a good location the problem is it’s dirty. Bathroom has some kind of dark stains on the walls. The shower is dirty. The carpets are dirty, But the bed is clean and comfortable.

We are close to many of the local companies of Randolph County, such as Timken, Malt-O-Meal, Energizer, Cooper (Oliver Rubber) Tire, Technimark, Klaussner Furniture, Matlab, Goodyear and Georgia Pacific. We are located in the heart of NASCAR country. Only 6 miles from Richard Petty Museum and Victory Junction Camp. Close by is Caraway Speedway,Caraway Convention Center and Lowe's (Charlotte) Motor Speedway Nearby attractions include NC (Asheboro) Zoo and Seagrove Potteries and Wet and Wild (Greensboro). Local colleges are Randolph Community College, UNCG, Greensboro and Guilford Colleges. Hotel features include a complimentary buffet style breakfast featuring fruits, juices, breads/pastries and hard boiled eggs. Free Local Phone Calls and Wireless internet.
This USED to be a Place To Stay
Reviewed By 21353Look at pics, this place probably hasn't been cleaned in YEARS! TV didn't work, gm REFUSED to let us switch rooms even after front desk stated they had availability. Calling the front desk was a WAsTE of time. On hold for ten minutes, go down to desk, person there just kept letting the phone ring. Gm walks in (tosses his cigarette out the door on the ground), goes to desk and he can't be bothered answering the phone. Gm came up to room to try and fix tv (here for over 1/2 hour REFUSING to let us switch rooms). I'm on the phone checking availability at other properties, unfortunately nothing. Ask for laundry bag and toothpaste in a.m., gm gets bag, starts kidding another employee how he can put the bag over her head. Waiting over 10 minutes, finally another employee gets bag and toothpaste. I believe Choice hotels has a tremendous LIABILITY with this gm. He demonstrates negative behavior to employees, you'll have litigation to deal with. He also smokes CONSTANTLY continually walks outside to smoke and tossing butts on the ground. I have stayed here before, didn't have any issues.
