Staff nice, hotel room good, all inclusive food was good with plenty of choice. Very clean place. Very scenic. Beautiful sandy bay beach. Easy access to buses. However be aware this area is very quiet with only a few bars and restaurants. Very hilly, with lots of steps to the beach. If you are a smoker there are very limited places to buy cigarettes - two vending machines in two bars which only open late in the day and machines may be empty. Can’t smoke in the externally bar areas apart from specified zones. Cigarettes Cheap if bought at tobacco shops in main towns. Two bottles water in rooms, keep your bottles and refill at the bar. Tea and coffee not refilled in rooms. Hilly with lots of inclines and steps to be aware of if you struggle with that. Be aware you will be charged tourist taxes in Spain and on arrival we were charged 47 euros for a couple - ask TUI to be clear as they are generally not. A few general small supermarkets and two small souvenir shops in the area. Get the bus to to town. Taxis can be very expensive and a long wait if booked by hotel. Bring your own insect repellent as you may get bitten a lot. If you like to drink known brands you can upgrade to yellow bands for 14 euros each per day, but must all upgrade (2 people, 2 upgrades 28 euros per day). Very quiet in the hotel at the evening, entertainment provided for kids and adults. All in all a nice very very quiet, and relaxing holiday with lots of friendly and talkative people around the hotel and pool

The ancient Camí de Cavalls coastal path can be accessed nearby and is a popular route for walking, cycling and horse-riding.
Beautiful studio, immaculate in every respect, perfect location. Would stay again and quite happily recommend. Location is ideal for beach and the local bars and resturants. We only stayed a couple of nights here but would perhaps stay longer in the future.

We chose this hotel as we have been in 4 star hotels and end up paying for facilities such as entertainment and gyms that we never use, so this seemed ideal. I read a number of reviews so didn't expect anything fancy , just something clean and tidy as basically you sleep on the room. On the plus side it was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The kitchen was dated and basic but had the facilities we needed. The downside was the the beds which felt like blanks of wood - ok if your an easy sleeper but not much fun if you don't sleep very easily like us. The other negative was the balconies - equipment was old and mops and bucket were kept on balcony. Also quite a few had views of the road.

This huge complex packs in a triple helping of pools, plus an impressive waterpark. It’s only a short walk from Arenal’s centre and sandy beach, too. The waterpark is this place’s crowning glory, with pools, ring rides and slides to keep speed demons grinning like Cheshire cats. Watery fun aside, there’s also loads of sports and activities going on. All rooms and the restaurant had a refresh for summer 2016, so you can expect a fresh look and feel during your stay. The buffet restaurant lines up spreads of international dishes fresh-made pancakes at breakfast. There’s a kid-friendly section, too, with stuff like nuggets and fish fingers. There's a poolside bar dishing up drinks and snacks throughout the day.
We stayed here 2- 9th May and had a wonderful time despite the weather being cold and windy for the first few days. I must mention how incredible the main restaurant is. Some evenings steaks were cooked fresh on the grill, on another occasion there were king prawns cooked fresh, always something different. The food really was top quality. And the desserts wow! Not the dry standard desserts you usually get at some resorts- here there was oreo cheesecake, lemon meringue pie, apple pie, gooey chocolate cake. The head chef Lucas really takes pride in the food he serves, and it shows. The waterpark was also excellent. Very pleased with our stay here.

We were on a fairly tight budget but liked the look of the area of Arenal D’en Castell so gave these apartments a try. After a week here, we are having an amazing time. Although the apartments are full, it is never crowded by the pool or noisy. Town and beach are easily walkable although the whole area is very hilly. Alexandra, the owner is just lovely and so helpful. The main selling point for us though is the view from our apartment. We were lucky enough to have one with two balconies, one that faces the pool and is always in the sunshine, and one in the shade that faces the beach and sea. It’s spectacular! Having been to Moraira on mainland Spain a couple of years ago, and found everything so expensive, we weren’t sure what we would be able to afford to do in Menorca but buses are very reasonable here. There is a bus to Mahon, and also to Fornells and Es Mercadal. We had an amazing evening in Es Mercadal where there is a weekly (Thursday) night market with bands playing etc and really interesting locally made products for sale. Also worth a walk from Arenal was over to the adjacent tiny fishing village. My two kids had an amazing time climbing the rocks and looking in all the rock pools. There’s also a diving board set up to go into the sea there but we weren’t quite brave enough to give that a go! All in all we are in love with Menorca and have managed so much on a very tight budget. The apartments would be spectacular with a bit of updating but then they would become too popular and expensive so I’d rather have them just the way they are. The only thing that would be nice would be if the bar below opened for a bit longer and had a bit more life in the evenings eg. ran some events like the other bars in town.

This hotel is now part of Isla Paraiso Hotel and that is why it has had no reviews for some time now. I stayed as Sa Mirada and ate at Isla Paraiso for breakfast and dinner on half board basis for two weeks. Immaculate hotel.

Those apartments are not listed on TripAdvisor (only AirB&B and Bookings.com) and you will understand why after reading by review. Avoid by any means. This is a total rip off. - overall cleaness is terrible: see state of our feet after 5 min of walking in the flat and dust collected with a towel as an example. there are stains on the sofa, on the cupboard doors - the state of the mattresses are unacceptable 'see video and pictures - where you can hear the springs creaking. Those mattress are probably 30 years old and it would have been more confortable to sleep on the floor - the fridge was smelling like a mix of rotting cheese and ham - the bathroom was completed dated, door wasn't closing probably and shower was not working properly in addition to being very dirty (cf. pictures). - the sofa if you take the blanket off is full of stains and very smelly - the house is not safe. There is only one lock and we felt very unsafe all night especially as it is poorly insulated (heard the neighbour's kid screaming after having a nightmare and of course all the cars) - I am not even mentioning that there is no AC (there is no mention there is - but do be aware) hence it is boiling hot which raises issues as per the safely. I would advise not renting through "Minorca Habitat" either as they were the opposite of helpful and put the blame on us.
