My friends and I booked last minute to stay the night in Yeppoon and everything about our stay was above and beyond what we could have expected. Grant made the booking process so easy and hassle free and gave clear instructions for our late arrival. We arrived to a sweet, clean and beautiful little place that was the nicest hostel we’ve ever stayed at! Thank you so much, we looking forward to our next stay with you in Yeppoon.

Alternatively, relax by the pool with a great book or just sit on the deck and watch the world go by. Free kayak and fishing gear hire for 2 nights stay or more. Wakeboarding, camping and 4wd trips also available. pool side bar with wood fired pizza oven, pool table and fuse ball table.
One of the best hostels I've stayed at in Australia. Set up is super nice and spacey. Taken care of really well by Emily. Also they have dinner for $10! And the bar is stalked with great liquor and beer. Definitely family vibes here

There was no one at reception my whole stay so when they only gave me one towel for my daughter and I, I couldn't go ask for a second one and couldn't get a hold of anyone. There was old soap in the bathroom and drink condemsation and sticky stuff on the bedside so it obviously hadn't been cleaned appropriatly. There were 2 dogs from other people staying that would bark at my daughter and I every time we walked through the common areas which you have to do to get to your room. There was always a smoker at the entrance so we had to walk throufh smoke every time we entered or exitted the place. As a non smoker with my daughter this was disgusting. I has spoken to someone on the phone before arriving about late checkout so my daughter could have a nap before we left. I was told this was fine and to just leave when she woke up. At 10:40am right after I had gotten her down, I had housekeeping knocking on the door saying they thought I was checking out. My daughter woke up screaming and I could not get her back to sleep. The least they could've done was have someone at reception but again, no one!

I stayed at cool bananas as an individual traveler and I had such a good time. The staff make you feel welcome, location is great, it’s really close to shops, and beaches, and a short drive or 20 minute walk from some really nice hiking trails. Highly rate it, I’ll be returning for sure

Hi there My wife and I just stayed here. We took a cabin for $140 with 2 small dogs. The whole area is unusual. Built from scratch over many years. Eco friendly. The owner, lovely lady, very nice, friendly and helpful. Just ask her if you need anything. Cabin, well no A/C, which might not work for many, it gets hot. But hey, it is eco friendly. Rainwater only, hot water for shower runs on portable gas bottles. And not much storage in bedroom nor bathroom. But toilet very big, bed is big, ceiling fan, even a TV. And what you get is sounds of animals. We had a great time and highly recommend this place.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Check in is very easy, you are emailed a code to the lock box and inside is your key. The shared living spaces are great, big and homely, the kitchen was impeccably clean. We stayed in room 4 which was a queen, the bed was super comfortable, we had a wardrobe, beside table with lamp and a clothes dryer for wet clothes. The bathroom is perfectly functional, the shower was great! The bathroom is perhaps more dated than the rest of the house, but for budget accommodation I thought it was awesome. There was tea and coffee available in the kitchen, and all the pots and pans you could need. Large fridge with freezer and a pantry for your food.

I’m just writing down this review because I don’t want anyone else to go through the same horrible experience as my friends and I at Bunk Inn Bundaberg. I don’t like the idea of writing bad things about small businesses, but I really think someone needs to do something about how bad this place is. I have never been to such a filthy place like that before. The toilets/bathrooms are absolutely dirty. When you get into the 12-bulks room, it’s possible to smell the lack of cleaning. There were bags with open food and garbage everywhere. The room was so smelly! We were already pretty disappointed at that stage, but we just tried to stay as it was very late and we were very tired. When I first laid down I could feel the springs on my back, it felt like the mattress was falling apart. A couple of hours though the night my friend woke me up saying she was staying in the car because she saw bedbugs in her bunk (she even made a video to show the manager). After that it was impossible to stay. Her sheets had blood stains, we just couldn’t say if they were from her or someone else. So revolting. We had a tour booked for the next day, and basically we couldn’t enjoyed our trip because we were so exhausted after that terrible experience. Anyway, there is something very wrong happening in that place and I really think they shouldn’t even be open. It is unsanitary, inhuman even.
