Soak up the sun on the well-maintained beaches of Agadir, southern Morocco's most-visited city. Palm-lined boulevards and beachfront bars add a decidedly Western-resort feel, amplified by the large number of Europeans who flock here in the winter months. It’s all about laid-back relaxation in Agadir, so ride a camel, rent a beach buggy, check out the Suq al-Had market or take the 20-minute walk up to the ruins of the Agadir Kasbah for expansive city views if you’re taking a break from the beach.

The translater had to translate German, English and French. It appeared that he was translating more German than any other language. The translator translated at the beginning of our journey from Agadir to Marrakesh. Then he slept most of the way of our 4 hour journey. We were a group of about 20 people. He moved too fast through the narrow winding array of shops. My boyfriend and I got lost. It was stated that if we got lost where we should meet at the agreed time. We asked a young man for directions he appeared friendly and agreed to take us to the main square. After taking us through more winding narrow pathways and some succluded he turned nasty and demanded money from us and started threatening us with a knife. He said he would stab us if we didn't give him any money. We were having none of it. An older gentleman on a motorbike challenged him and I guess in native tongue he told the young fool to leave us alone. I hated my experience and would never recommend anyone to go to that seedy, dangerous market. There was also another awful experience I just want to forget. This was my worst ever holiday experience in all of my travels. On our route back from Marrakesh to Agadir the translator and passenger were having a "few words" In essence I think my boyfriend and I were extreamly unfortunate. The booking was easy. The company when booking were extreamly professional. Picked us up on time.
