Really interesting to hear how this German fortification built into a much older fortress was attacked over several weeks during the liberation of St Malo in 1944. The bunker is well preserved and the guided tour (buy tickets in advance because each tour has limited numbers) is comprehensive and well presented by the guide (in French but understandable and there is a written guide in English). Certainly worth visiting.
