Beef and hospitality are the two things we take a special care of. We are especialy proud of our exclusive Kobe beef and Argentinian steaks. They are both fine examples of tradition, attachment to nature and care for the animals of the region they come fr
This restaurant on the Old Square is first rate. The meal was of the highest quality. I had steak which was cooked perfectly and wonderfully seasoned. Even the dessert - chocolate cake and ice cream - was delicious. The service and ambience was terrific. Finally, it cost about $50 US including the tip for the steak, a generous and delicious side order of spinach, the great dessert, and a very tasty Malbec.

Awiw in Hebrew means spring. Not by accident we have chosen the word for the name of your restaurant in Krakowâs Kazimierz. We love nature, that is why flowers are what will catch your eyes while passing by Szeroka street. Every evening from 6pm till 10 p
Awiw is located in the heart of the Jewish neighborhood Kazimierz in view of two historic synagogues. It sits on a square along with along with a few other restaurants all offering the same kind of traditional Jewish/Foods. We ate outside at the neighboring restaurant the night before and loved the food. This time we (party of 4) decided on Awiw, but as the night started to get cooler we decided to eat inside. We had no problem being seated as most of the tables were empty. It was quiet when we walked in, but as soon as we sat down the band started to play. It was pretty much the same music as was played outside next door, except this time it was inside. Same set up, Bass, accordeon and violin. It was pretty loud. Almost too loud, but after some time more guests trickled in dampening the sound level somewhat. The traditional Jewish/Polsih tunes were better than next door (we could hear "Anatevka" being played during musical breaks). Staff was very polite and professional. The menu was quite extensive with menu Polish traditional dishes. We ordered gefilte fish, venison Strogonoff in bread and 2 sauerkraut dishes (don't recall their exact names), which were all very good. The bathroom was for both sexes and was very clean. We liked the restaurant's ambiance and had a good time after the music's volume got absorbed by the additional human bodies :-). It provides an excellent introduction to authentic Polish as well as Polish-Jewish cuisine. Food and drinks were priced right.Thank you for your review. We are really glad to hear you enjoy.

I had a massive (size XXL, don't know how many inches it had but was HUGE) with pepperoni, jalapeno and tabasco, in my opinion I would add a bit more tabasco, so that the pizza would be more spicy, however the dough and cheese where the best I have ever had in my life !!
