Language was a barrier. Food was ok. Waiter didn't tell me to add tip to cc payment until after the account was settled? Girl at the check in at the hotel recommended a restaurant down the street instead but it was raining so we went here.

This greek restaurant is very popular with the locals! who likes the typical greek dishes will love this place! beside the very tasty food i love the very rustic but cosy atmosphere and the very smypatic owner hercules and the waiters. they all are always chipper.what is more the food is very reasonable and the dishes generous.there are always one ouzo or even more for free and a dessert comes on the house

Staff is really attentive and welcoming. The menu is not that varied but this is a good sign, because most of the dishes are really delicious. They bring daily something new on the list and they are always welcoming you with an on the house appetizer and sometimes even a small dessert.The portions are really consistent as well.

Want to eat greek, but in greek tavernas in Germany the greek food tastes not exactly as it did last summer in Greece? It's not the lack of sea view, it's not the lack of sun, it's that you still haven't discovered "Oniro"!For Vasilis, the owner, his restaurant may be his "Oniro" ("dream" in Greek), but for me every visit is a journey: a journey to a greek summer night. This place has it all: the aromas, the tastes, the wines and drinks, the hospitality, and most important the atmosphere. A minimal style in combination with warm lighting and limited space, make this cozy atmosphere that easily brings people together.The dish style of mezedes makes this even easier. Deliciously prepared specialties served over the whole table make people share more than just their food. After all, this is the idea of a greek taverna: over tasty food bites and wine sips share yourself and your time with your friends and family.I used to live for quite a long time in Greece and I appreciate this greek social ritual. I consider myself lucky to have this restaurant in my neighborhood. For me was most revealing a remark that my sister, during her visit last year, made one evening we dined at "Oniro": "Incredible, but for a shortwhile I got confused and I had a feeling I was in Greece instead Wolfsburg".
