St. George is central to some of the most dramatic natural beauty in the American West, from the Mojave Desert to Zion National Park and the Pine Valley Mountains. While its summers are hot, St. George's mild and largely snow-free winters make it popular with golfers, hikers and bikers. In fact, Brigham Young wintered here – his home in town is open to the public.

This Johnny Miller signature course features Bent Grass greens and enough heavy-duty shots to challenge even the most jaded golfer.
Had the opportunity to play this course today. Played in some hot weather but managed to get the game in. Course was in great shape. Fairways and greens were very consistent. The lava field certainly tests your game. Staff was excellent.

Designed by Ted Robinson, this championship golf challenge, par 72, was rated by Golf Digest as the number one course in Utah for 1993-1998.
Sunbrook doesn't have the fame of some of St. George's bigger names (Coral Canyon, Entrada, Sand Hollow) but it is a great course and undeniably one of the area's best golf values. Sunbrook consists of three 9-hole courses: Pointe, Woodbridge, and Black Rock. Coupling the Pointe and Woodbridge courses seem to be the most popular means of playing 18 holes, and for good reason. Both courses have some fantastic holes and are very enjoyable to play, 1 through 9. The Pointe's best stretch is #5 through #8 and Woodbride's #4 and #5 are two holes you will not soon forget. Bring your camera and your nerves of steel for those two. The course is very well maintained, and is simply unbeatable for the price. It has the feel of a local's secret; the kind of place the people who live there play every day while the out-of-towners drop twice as much to go play Sand Hollow. I can't blame the locals if that is in fact what they do; if I lived in St. George, I'd probably play Sunbrook weekly, and never get bored with it. If you are going golfing in St. George, put this one on the itinerary. Fun course that is in great shape, and you can't beat the value.

This nine-hole golf course, built in 1965, was St. George's first, and is considered in the top nine-hole courses in Utah.
We played here during the Huntsman World senior Games in 2019. The course was beautiful, well maintained, greens where true. They have a driving range. Great carts. They have online tee-time reservations. You can take the carts into the parking lot for your clubs.

Southgate is a great course for those looking for an enjoyable round of golf as opposed to a brutal test of your skills. Southgate also features a game improvement center with award-winning PGA professionals and instruction programs.A great walking course, the front nine requires accuracy to sucessfully negotiate the waterways. Eight out of the nine holes on the front nine feature either a lake or the Santa Clara River as scenic challenges to par. The back 9, slightly longer than the front nine, adds the element of risk and reward which allows the player to recover shots lost on the front nine. Southgate Golf Club is a par-70 layout which is enjoyable for all levels of ability.

Located only a scenic five minute drive north of St. George on Bluff Street, The Ledges Golf Club offers world class golf unlike anything else offered in Southern Utah. You'll admire the natural beauty and breathtaking views of the surrounding sandstone mountains while enjoying a round of 9 or 18 holes. This facility boasts conditions that rival, and even exceed, conditions at private clubs. The experience begins in the parking lot where friendly staff will drive a cart to your car to load your clubs and deliver you to the clubhouse.
The Ledges is one of the best courses in Utah. The course is always very well maintained with beautiful fairways and tight greens. The setting is stunning, nestled amongst the red and white sand stone cliffs of Snow Canyon State Park. The course is challenging but not too challenging. You have plenty of opportunity to hit driver if you want but you could still play the whole course with out ever having to pull it out of your bag. There's some risk reward shots that keep it interesting. The club house is nicely appointed and the food is good. I love this course because it so relaxing.

I love golfing at SunRiver, the staff in the clubhouse are always so helpful & nice and Brett always remembers me when I go in there. The course is beautiful with exceptional scenery, it does have water on a few holes and a lot of out of bounds rough. Be prepared to hit it accurate or lose a few balls. It can get a little backed up but when it does just sit back for a few and take it all in.
