Things to do in Gronau

Great location to eat tasty and traditional German schnitzel. A nice atmosphere and friendly staff awaits you
Local restaurant with local (daily) guests. Typical German design. Very friendly host and most of all very good quality meat! You can choose from 20 different Schitzel....Meat nicely cooked, crispy and not fat. Chips at the side with mayonnaise and a cold glass of local beer. â¬28 voor two! Great! We will come here more often.

Its looks when you enter there that you go bak in time and that you find yourself back in the eighties and not in the present time anymore. The staff was a bit slow, but the drinks and meals were good and not expensive.

We had dinner with friends and really enjoyed our delicious food in an uncomplicated, somehow cozy atmosphere. The region needs more places like this (simple, homelike and alternatively modern style with brilliant food)! Service and price tags are perfectly fine. Dishes are rather large (sharing the starters was definitely a good idea). I wish there was a little more choice at the wine menu... but weâll be back anyway!!!

We stopped in on a chilly afternoon to warm up with a hot drink. We picked ur table and the server came by quickly and took our drink order. I had a large hot chocolate with cream and my wife had a coffee. The place is very agreeable as far as ambience. The shop has tables on two levels. My chocolate was fine but my wife found her coffee to be weak.

This has slowly become our family restaurant. The food is delicious, flavors are very home-made like, but with more finesse and the plating is very appealing to the eye as well. It has been a bit old-fashioned for a while, but since the refurbishing and a new menu it has become a very good example of modern German cuisine. Definitely try the pepper steak and the lavendel ice-cream!P.S. If you are visiting in the spring they have great asparagus dishes.

Spent a nice evening here with a group of friends, enjoyed the meal that was above average, good quality-price relationship, friendly service - I did not expect or demand more than that and so was happy with the whole experience
