前を通りかかったらあと５分で開店というタイミングだったのでランチをと思い少し待ちました。私以外はほとんど予約の方でカウンターとテーブルが二つ（２階もあるのでしょうか）というこじんまりとしたお店でした。メニューの一番最初にあったオムライスを注文。まずたっぷりのサラダが出てきました。その次にオムライス。こちらはケチャップとデミグラスソースのどちらかを選ぶことができ、私はデミグラスソースにしました。半熟のタイプではなく分厚い火の通った濃厚な卵でカバーされていました。中のご飯はキノコがしっかりと主張していておいしくいただけました。その次は飲み物でコーヒーをお願いしました。これで１５００円はちょうど良いくらいかなという感想です。駅から１分くらいで便利な洋食屋さんです。次は夜にと思いますが、きっと必ず予約がいるのだろうと思い考え中です。

披露宴会場として参加・利用させていただきました。建物内部の格調が高く、とてもロマンチックな感じであるほか、とにかく料理の一品一品が綺麗で、味も素晴らしく、とても印象に残る一日となりました。なお、各駅へのアクセシビリティは微妙な感じです。

Arriving at the restaurant for lunch, there were a large number of ladies waiting for the door to open. More arrived. At 11:30, the door swung wide welcoming us. The wait staff was superb in getting everyone seated quickly and efficiently with menus in hand. Water arrive soon and orders were taken. With so many having entered as one time, I assumed we - my party of seven - would have to wait. Not so! The progression of plates began quite soon and were spaced so that we were not rushed.Overall, the food was really quite good, the service was smooth and efficient, and the cost was quite reasonable. I highly recommend this bistro. However, please call and make a reservation - it is quite popular.

I am staying at the hotel for a weeks holiday around Japan and decided to dine at this restaurant. I was glad I did. The service was exceptionally friendly and polite with the waitress always making sure you were taken care of. The food was outstanding and really cooked to perfection. It is really high quality food and meals that they have on offer. The ambiance of the restaurant was quiet and relaxing with stunning views over Kobe area with the lights of the city glittering in the distance. I would highly recommend this restaurant if staying at the hotel. It does help to speak a little Japanese. I find that if you make an effort to speak the language then things are just that fraction better. There was no rush to leave the restaurant but as I did the waitress had the bill ready to sign for on my room account as well as having the lift ready and open for me after I signed. It was the small touches of friendly service that made this a memorable restaurant to dine at that added to the quality of the food.

First, it is located BEHIND the Patissiere Peritei. There is little signage and very difficult to find. Our gps couldn't even find this place.Pay parking directly beside the restaurant.It is a cafe style French restaurant. Seats maybe 20 people tops. Very cheery and bright inside.We ordered the set menu, came with salmon mousse appetizer, corn soup with fresh scallops and POPCORN garnish, grilled fish, roasted pork fillets and a dessert.This is not fine dining, it is not an uppity restaurant (popcorn in the soup just was wrong) but the flavor of the meal was pretty good. Portion size was amazing. It would be considered huge in any country.Considering the amount of food, the ingredients they used, (wife ordered duck confit with truffles and the truffles were nice thick slices, the foie gras was a nice big piece), we feel that the meal was well worth the price tag. It was under 3,000 yen per person not including wine for the set menu.The negative is the service. I realize that French dining does take time but this meal took about 3 hours from beginning to end. The meal took forever to come. We plan to come back when we want a French meal without the usual price and when we are not in a rush.

西宮阪急内ドンクに併設されたカフェです。予想以上に広く、カウンター5席に2人用テーブル15卓ほどです。フードコートのようなシステムで先に会計をして整理番号をくれます。テーブルで待っていると注文した品を持って来てくれます。主人はコーヒー、自分はストロベリーパフェを注文しました。子供みたいと笑われましたが、めげずにいただきます。生クリーム、ストロベリーアイス、グラノーラ、ヨーグルト、ストロベリーソースです。ストロベリーはソフトクリームじゃなくシャーベットでした。カロリーを抑える意味でグラノーラやヨーグルトにしているのでしょう。有難い配慮です。ストロベリーソースが一番下になっていましたので、難しいですがこぼさないように天地返しをしていただきました。

With a Michelin star, our expectations were high - and fully met! We had a eight course menu with wines selected by the sommelier, and our tastebuds and tummies were more than satisfied. The restaurant offers French cuisine utilizing Japanese seasonal ingredients and does so very elegantly. For example the 21 layered sushi served as a starter. Another example was the beef seasoned with sanshoo - a Japanese type if pepper. Also a big shout out to the sommelier! The wine pairing was really fantastic. Every wine elegantly supported and enhanced the flavors of the food. Food at this level is obviously costly. Dinner starts at 8300 yen for the smallest menu, but the money is well spent if you are looking for a gourmet experience. For international travelers it is worth noting, that gourmet food is generally reasonably priced in Japan if you compare to prices elsewhere in the world, so for gourmet travelers, Maison de Taka is absolutely worth a visit. To me, this is among the top ranking restaurants in the Kobe-Osaka area, where food quality is generally high.

Went on a Saturday night with my husband. The restaurant is just a 5 minutes walk from the station Ashiya in the Kobe area. It's minimalistic with wooden walls and a lovely garden peek from windows located at the floor. It's quite small and intimate, this night we were 15 persons in the restaurant. They had prepared tonight's menu in English for us witch was a huge advantage as we don't speak Japanese. It was a 9 course meal, a French innovative menu with emphasis on local seasonal products. It was delicious. The plating, the colors, the smells, the taste. We also had the wine pairing menu and we were not disappointed. Nice mix of wines and Japanese sake, made the whole experience even better. If we have one complaint it is that we on more than once had to wait for the drinks after we'd been served the food, and that we were not given water before halfway in to the menu. A last nice touch of the night, was that our coats had been slightly heated and was nice and warm before we went out in the cool night - very thoughtful and Japanese.
