Find out what French restaurants to try in Djibouti. Nestled on the southern tip of the Gulf of Tadjoura, the seaside capital of Djibouti is a modest harbor town and a major port of trade and travel via Ethiopia and other points in Africa, especially as the terminus for the Djibouti-Addis Ababa Railway. Beaches along the eastern shore provide some respite from the blistering heat, while the chaotic central market is alive with activity throughout the day.

At here on our last night in Djibouti! Quite the treat! The owner was there to explain the menu items that seem to change daily or weekly. Great seafood and nice personal service. Not cheap, but worth the splurge. There were about 10 of us and we had one nice large table,
This review is for the restaurant, not the nightclub with a similar name. We had a fine lunch at the Tropicana and enjoyed a wide variety of seafood along with superior service. Waitresses were smiling and attentive and the quality and value were first rate. The restaurant is near the port, standing by itself along one of the access roads and right on the water. If you're ever in Djibouti in cooler weather, it might be nice to sit outdoors.Search Djibouti Tropicana and you'll find the restaurant's Facebook page with great photos of the interior and the food. Well worth a stop.
Restaurant à tapas. Cocktail diversifié et goutus. Cuisine méditerranéenne avec une vue sur la mer et un accès privatif à la plage. Ambiance très sympa avec les 2 propriétaires chaleureux et acceuilant

I went over there three days ago, by night and I was surprised to experience something completely different of what a former client said on tripadvisor. The place is just oustanding! The decoration is so cosy, there's a beautiful atmosphere, dim light, reggae music, good service! People were nice...And I have to correct something, No insects or bugs or whatever else than a delicious fish an fried vegetables in my plate! Anyway, i am advising it to anybody who's eager to enjoy a calm and relaxing night with good music and delicious dishes!

Restaurant (Cafe) Havana is one of the better restaurant in Djibouti. It has a relatively limited menu, but this only serves to assist you in making up your mind as well as ensuring that the raw-materials are always fresh. The staff is very service minded, friendly and welcomes you as if you are the best guest, every time.

Jules Verne is our favorite place to go for large prawns in Djibouti. All their seafood is great, but we really like their grilled prawns. Even the presentation of the shrimp on the skewers is excellent. Then after our Anniversary dinner, we tried their chocolate mouse, and it was much better than expected. This is definitely the place to go for grilled shrimp.

We happened onto this place while exploring the waterfront, and ended up going back for a second night later in the week. Very nice facility, tables on the water all the way around. Excellent service. Food was very good, nicely presented, and priced less than some of the less nice restaurants in the European quarter. The menu has small fish, medium fish, and large fish but they were out of one or more of the sizes both nights we were there. The fish kabobs were delicious.Dear Our Esteemd Customer,Thank you for taking the time to write your comments on your recent experience at Kuriftu Restaurant and Lounge, Djibouti! We are pleased to know that you have had a wonderful experience and enjoyeddine with us and I look forward to your return.Regards,Mahad EguehOperations DirectorKuriftu Restaurant and Lounge, Djibouti.
