Such a wonderful man. Custom hand made jewelry, reasonably priced, and worth the visit! Yellowhammer has been all around the US selling his goods. A MUST SEE in Oatman.

Horseback riding in the gorgeous Black Mountains. We offer 1/2, 1, and 2 hour horseback rides, a Sunset Steak Dinner ride, a Chuckwagon dinner ride (for groups and parties), and gold panning trips. We now also offer Authentic Stagecoach rides. We are very close to Laughlin, NV, and get many visitors from Las Vegas, NV. We are located right off RT 66 on the South end of Oatman, AZ. Views guaranteed so bring your camera! Reservations highly recommended.
If you are traveling Route 66 or in northwestern Arizona traveling make the trip to Oatman. The burros are all over main street looking for handouts. (Just avoid being with a group of them when they have a disagreement - they kick each other.) They do a mock gunfight and collect donations for charity. The view on the drive to and from is worth the drive!

This stretch of old Route 66 runs between Kingman, AZ through Oatman to Topcock, AZ.
This is a brilliant route to explore which passes through the small town of Oatman. The views are varied and spectacular. There's not much traffic. Take your time and enjoy this part of the historic Route 66. Stop for a snack or lunch at Oatman.

Old historic building on route 66 east of Oatman and west of Kingman, Arizona on route 66. Now a gift shop and small museum. Cool Springs use to be the last stop before hitting the mountain pass into Oatman. Prices are not bad and lots of history of the area. A nice stop on your way to Oatman.

Oatman Gift Shack had some of the best selections and prices in town. Very nice and helpful people. Donkeys and gunfights in town.

We confess, we came for the burros. But this revived ghost town is one of our favorite day trips from Laughlin! Along with feeding the wild burros, you can peek in an old mine, shop for antiques, watch a gun show, check out Clark Gable and Carol Lombard’s honeymoon sweet and pin a dollar with your name on the wall of the 1902 Oatman Hotel. So much history and character here! Plus, those furry burros... ❤️ @staggscrossing on instagram
