Ancient civilization gets a tropical beach twist in Mui Ne, a resort town in southeast Vietnam. Formidable Cham towers seem to keep watch over the visitors who come here for the epic kitesurfing or to frolic along the sand dunes. Candy-colored fishing vessels bob gently in the waters of Mui Ne Harbor, where you can buy steamed seafood that’s literally fresh off the boat.

Live lobsters for usd1.50 each. Fresh scallops and fresh fish. Thats what you can expect at this harbour. Buy it and bring up to the restaurants nearby and they will cook it for another usd3 per dish. The early morning is the best time to experience the bustling market activity right at the beach. The round boats traverse between the bigger trawler boats and the beach and carry the day's catch onshore. They are round in shape for 3 main reaaona. Because they are taxed based on the length of the vessel, they are also more stable than a traditional boat and they can be made of plastic. It is also the place to see the sunset. You will take postcard pictures of the colourful boats , experience the true local fishing community and fill your stomach with the freshest and cheapest seafood for miles. Highly recommended.

The weather is not great at this time of the year but the wind was low and some days were sunny but more cloudy, this is a great beach to visit in vietnam and should be seen.

No entrance fee. Nice dunes and great sunset view! There are many people sliding down the dunes with a plastic sheet and my hubby even jumping down the dunes. As this is an unshelter place, highly recommended to visit either early morning or late afternoon to enjoy thee nice view of sunrise/sunset.

Mui Ne Beach is nonetheless the most underrated beaches in the world. Be there early in the morning to catch the sunrise from the seas. The waves are huge but fun to play with. The views of the surrounding are breathtaking. I can relax on the lounge chair the entire day.
