Helen and her staff are professional, friendly and so much fun to be with. Apparently best pint of Guinness around, although I don't drink it. Great parties and good music at the weekends. Jono's is in the Good Beer Guide 2019 - great achievement. Long may they continue

Built in around 1696 for Elizabeth Tillotson and her family, after the death of her husband who was the Archbishop of Canterbury. During its 300 + years of history Valentines has changed hands many times. It is a Grade II listed building. Valentine’s Mansion is located within Valentines Park at Emerson Road Ilford, Redbridge The last private owner was Sarah Ingleby who died in 1906 and the local Council acquired the house in 1912. Since then, Valentines has been home to wartime refugees, a hospital, a public health centre, and a council housing department. After that period the house stood empty for 15 years until it was restored with Redbridge council and Heritage Lottery funds. The house enjoys wide community support. There are several garden types at Valentines Mansion. You can download a map of the gardens at Valentine house website. These are places to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We had all the infornation about Black History and Windrush and African History lets not forget the History it is to be remembered and it is to this day not forgotten. We should all remember and understand the facts not fiction. All from the Historic Redbridge Library I urge you to go along and read History passed down to families even the Somali History how they went to work/WAR for the British Merchant Navy and even the Burmes War Somali had the Medals but it was never spoken about either way fact not fiction many Somalis like my father Ahmed received the King George Medal but nobody speaks about their bravery for our England except King George of England. Black History is in many many Memoirs forgive but not forgotten. Lets not also forget how the JEWISH/HEBREW PEOPLE SUFFERED THROUGH THE HOLOCAUST IT IS SOMETHING ALL HUMAN BEINGS WHATEVER THEIR RELIGION SHOULD NEVER EVER HAPPEN AGAIN. THAT HAS BEEN IN THE LIBRARY FOR ALL TO REMEMBER AND SEE IT WAS HORRIFIC. AND ALSO WHAT IS HAPPENING IN PALESTINE SHOULD BE SHOWN TO THE WORLD/Public and of how all peoples do suffer. I would ask for or lets have PEACe on Earth and also shown at our library in Redbridge. PLUS WARS IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM SHOULD NOT HAPPEN Not in this day and age. Plus lets have pictures in our ljbrary of climate Change and the Poverty in 2019 Countries etc. It should not be hidden do you not agree. Regards
