Ridge along a mountain trail.
The Garden Wall is also known as the 7 mile long Alpine Section on the West side Going to the Sun Road. It has stunning views and parking turnouts...some small and others quite large. There are many extra waterfalls early in the season and the iconic Weeping Wall runs so full you can drive under the water or walk under it for photos. In late June/early July there will be areas with remaining snow drifts the higher you drive approaching Logan Pass. There will also be remaining snow-bridges with waterfalls rushing beneath them. Those are gorgeous but extremely dangerous to walk out onto for photos...just don't do that. In the Summer the Garden Wall is full of wildflowers of all kinds...including the broad spherical white Cow Parsley, Indian Paintbrush, perennial geranium, the blue or lavender Penstemon, & small white daisy like flowers. At the Big Bend area where the largest parking area is located, you will see fields of purple Fireweed and/or the tall white spikes of the famous Bear Grass. In the Fall the foliage above and below the road is a carpet of various colors with a background of the nice clear blue sky. Fall wildflowers at that time of year include Indian Paintbrush, Aster and Gallardia.

Loved this hike. We had no idea what we were getting into. We’re not hardcore hikers but we kept hearing how great this hike was. We started out not knowing how much of a climb it was. It was quite the incline but very much worth it! We made it up to Preston Park and Wow! Amazing views of Piegan Glacier as well as many others mountain peaks! You could definitely go further and I know there would be more amazing views! Do this hike!

Find out all you need to know about local attractions, accommodations and dining at this visitor center.
This is a much smaller visitor center than I expected given the size of the park. That being said, there is a lot of information available and definately worth a stop especially if you are entering the park from the west side. You can gather a great deal of information from the displays just outside of the visitor center, including up to date parking information. Save yourself the headache and check the parking and if it's full at Logan Pass, take the shuttle from here. Rangers and volunteers are avaialble to answer your questions and there is a small book store operated by the Glacier Conservancy. It does get quite busy here and can be crowded inside.

Running Eagle Falls is a highlight of a trip to Two Medicine. In the spring water rushes over the upper fall so thick that the lower fall is completely hidden. Later in summer, as flows decrease, the water seems to change course and flow almost exclusively out of the lower fall. It's easy to see why this waterfall used to be named Trick Falls. This area holds great religious significance for local Blackfeet tribal members. The park is in the process of creating a nature trail here to highlight the cultural significance of this unique spot.
easy hike from a little parking area 5 minute walk a great little hick for older people a familys,,,,,,,easy stream to cross its just a nice little hike

Hiked to Red Rock Falls. 5 miles round trip. Saw moose in Fisher Cap Lake (two different spots), black bear on the trail, mountain goat high up on the rocks at entrance to the falls. Not a hard hike, very beautiful. Take a horn or whistle to ward bears away.

Wonderful spot with crystal clear water. There's a small viewing platform where you can get the best photos. There was plenty of parking at 11am.

We stopped here twice during our time in Glacier, and saw goats both times! Babies usually with the adults are adorable! Definitely bring binoculars. Good clean restrooms. Beautiful bear grass blooming in the large parking lot.
