The Buyuk camlica Korusu spreads out over 163,181 square meters in the district of uskudar. it takes its name from the hill it is situated upon which is the larger of the two hills found between uskudar and umraniye. it has a number of highly prized, potable springs and the grove is home to two protected pine species, kizilcam or Turkish Pine (pinus brutia) and fistikcam or Stone Pine (pinus pinea). Well, if you are a nature lover, its a place not to be missed out as one of your itinerary in Istanbul. Be close to the nature... enjoying the scenic view and breathe in fresh air. Its so serene that makes you tempted to camp here.. hahaha... just beware... there are big dogs ard... fret not.. they dont bark at you.. actually they are sooo sweet to accompany me throughout my hiking.
