We went out 2 days in a row, on a brisk October weekend. I was a little worried that the boat would be cold but we were able to get around quick enough that the cold didn't have enough time to bother us. We also have some drinks onboard to keep spirits high. On day 1, we took off from DT Annapolis, and our first stop was the Kentmore Marina Restaurant for a contactless pick up or some morning snacks. Crab pretzels and grapefruit crushes. The pretzel alone was worth the price of admission. We tied up to the bulkhead, had ”breakfast”, before shoving off to hit the bay proper. Our next stop was the Thomas Point Shoal lighthouse for some awesome photos and a little time to warm up before the next leg. We hung around for about 15 minutes. When we got there, we were the only boat but after about 10 minutes several showed up. The traffic was our queue to leave. We blasted off to St. Michaels next. It took about 30 minutes, maybe less from the lighthouse. We passed by the famous Wedding Crashers set on the way in to grab a few more instaworthy moments. St Micheal’s is a charming town to spend a day with the fam, cool museum, local shops and a great place to grab a bit, Crab Claw. We spent a couple hours exploring and stuffing our faces before heading back to Annapolis. On the way back, we took a slight detour through Ego Alley, right at happy hour. By the time we got to the dock it was close to sunset. Perfect time to catch an UBER back into Ego Alley, this time via land. Our second day was just as memorable, but we went up river for a much more laid back cruise. I will see Big Ting again!
