Before visiting we had heard the sparkling wines were very good and were made by the methode champonoise method (the way it is done in France). We were not disappointed! The Curvee Cougar 2018 sparkling was was fantastic. We also sampled the dry reds and found them to be very good. We bought some of both. The whole experience was great. John is good at imparting knowledge for whatever level of wine drinker you are. I even found a new way to display some of my memorable corks. They were in a printer's tray. Picture below. We will be back on our next visit to try some of the dry whites and semi sweet wines. And definitely to buy more sparkling wine!!

Stop here every time we come to Dubuque or Galena. Molly was the server this time. She was terrific! She shared as one if her sampling’s the sangria mixture with the Cabernet which cut the sweetness of the sangria and turned it into a great summer drink! I bought a case of wine Loved the Chardonnay’s and Reisling. There is wine for all wine tasters. There is also lunch which consistsl of sandwiches, salads, paninis. and homemade soups. You can eat inside or out. After wine tasting and lunch,we walked up to the river walk and sat and enjoyed the river views! . Great way to spend an afternoon!

Come enjoy a free tour and free tasting of our award winning premium rums! The federal government says we make "rum" but your taste buds may say differently! Sample our clear spirit, Island Bay, which is a wonderful mixer, or our Caribbean Mist, with flavors of a fine cognac, or our White Sand, which speaks of an aged sipping whiskey!
