Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for
I had lunch(Chicken Fajita Salad) and both of my 12 yr old companions (My daughter and her best friend) had breakfast along with milkshakes and french fries. Steak 'n Shake's food is always of high quality, the service is always prompt and courteous, and best of all, nobody blinks when I allow my daughter to order odd things.
I visited here a few weeks ago, right when it opened. The owner, Tom, is a great guy and is very personable. He knows his customers and often asks how they are doing. From being there for the 30 mins my wife and I were eating it's clear that people enjoy the food but come because of Tom. It's better than Subway in the fact that a Subway sandwhich is 80% bread and 20% everything else. At Monster Subs it's much different. I wanted a Sub and I received a SUB. The propotions are great from bread to substance. Their moto is "Subs so big their Scary!" For the value and sandwhich you can't beat it!!!

A quick takeaway for an office lunch. I had heard good reviews about this place and I particularly liked the veggie burrito they offer. I would not know a great deal about the other items on the menu but I can imagine them to be good as well. Recommended for an office takeaway though.
Been here in the past, and this time was just as wonderful! Staff is so friendly, they welcome you immediately and check on you when you're eating to make sure everything is good and if you need anything else. Subs were made fresh, exactly as we ordered them, very delicious! Your review was such a pleasure to read. There aren't enough words to describe how grateful we are for your kindness and patronage. We can't wait to share this with the Tylersville Rd team. Thanks again! Kayleigh/Guest Services

This place seems to be a Cincinnati icon/favorite. While visiting relatives in West Chester we stopped here for a quick dinner meal on a cold, cold night. The chili is tasty, not the best I've ever had, but suffices. Everyone enjoyed the oyster crackers but when we requested more they were not brought until we later asked again. The service was friendly and good, but I wouldn't call it excellent.

This was a great place to have a quick meal. The "smashburgers" are great as well as the "smash" grilled chicken. You have a choice of buns and toppings. They have regular fries and also "smash" fries with oil and herbs. Both are good. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The service is quick and the food is served hot.

This was our second visit in the last few months where the restaurant smelled terrible! The smell is akin to raw sewage. My husband thinks it is a dirty mop, but it smells more like a grease pit to me (we both worked in different fast food chicken places as teenagers). The food is good and our servers are generally friendly and attentive. They always have a LOT of people working and we tend to go when it isn't super busy. We've often noticed dirty floors and tables, which is unacceptable given the number of staff just standing around doing nothing. I'm pretty sure this location has the same owner/operator as the Monroe location, which coincidentally is always a big mess (much more so than this location). I know hiring teenagers is necessary, but you have to hire a be good manager to manage them. I don't know if we will be back to either location. The smell at Liberty Township is overpoweringly disgusting and Monroe is far too dirty. Such a shame.

I just can't get enough of those little swedish meatballs, and my husband loves the chocolate cake. The kids will normally eat the meatballs too. I love getting swedish specialties like current or elderberry flavored items. Their salmon is actually good too. A great break after walking through the store for an hour or two.
