This Wendy's is your standard Wendy's with a good location near Central Michigan University on Mission.PROS:- The food has always been well made.- The staff is friendly, and the service is fast.- Good location.CONS:- It's REALLY weird that this location closes earlier than the other location on Pickard. It's closer to CMU, but it appears to close down one hour earlier than the the other one on M-20. Strange.- If you're not ordering off of the value menu, then the food is usually overly expensive (as it is at any Wendy's location). I recommend using the coupons that usually come in the mail each month; without the coupons, there are other places nearby that offer much more inexpensive food.

This was my first visit. I ordered an açaà bowl. My point of comparison may be the problem. My favorite is Florida Juice & Bowl. The bowl here was more expensive (?!) but smaller. They use a pre-made frozen base that is entirely frozen solid to the bottom of your bowl (unlike the made to order açaà base at my fav), there is MUCH less variety of fruit, the fruit is far less fresh (overripe bananas that my fav would never use), the granola was big sweet chunks definitely with sugar that did not seem at all healthy or organic, and the coconut was grated and not fresh (fav uses fresh coconut in large shreds that you can actually taste and that add an important textural element to the whole bowl). Overall effect of Pure Vitalityâs bowl was far too sweet with a base like a popsicle impossible to eat with the other ingredients and a topping of mostly mushy banana. Finally, the bowl does not look appealing, whereas FL Juice & Bowlâs are a work of art â the most beautiful bowl of food (of any kind) I have ever seen. Iâm glad Mt Pleasant is trying, but the owner & employees need to go out and discover a model for excellence and follow it. The bowl made me lack confidence in the freshness, healthiness, and organic nature of all their product overall, and, therefore, this likely was my first and last visit.

This location is MUCH BETTER than the old Taco Bell that was right next door. The new store seems to be making better food as well. The old Taco Bell used to have hard rice and would ALWAYS put tomatoes on your food (even when you asked for them to be removed). This new location seems to make hot food and get the food right. They did have an AWFUL time with their Fruitista machine last year (it was constantly freezing up (no pun intended) and would not work, but this seems to have been fixed as well.

This is a standard McDonald's close to CMU's campus.PROS:- Close to campus, so the distance is convenient for Central Michigan University students.- Food is hot and made well.- The orders are typically very accurate.- The staff is very friendly.CONS:- 80% of the time you will be told to pull over and park in a parking spot to wait for your food. This is beyond irritating. I feel like the next time they do this, I'm just going to politely decline.- They NEVER have cookies in stock; you will always have to wait for them to bake them.- It's really confusing when breakfast starts at night. I wish they would post a sign.- The food is made well, but the last time I ordered a dipped ice cream cone, there was a hair embedded in the chocolate shell. Nasty. They did replace it, but they should have done more than that.

A standard Arby's in a Good Location next to Central Michigan University's campus.PROS:- Good food that is made well. One time, I did have an order of mozzarella sticks that were undercooked and cold inside, but they made me a fresh order right away.- COUPONS! If you live in the area, you will usually receive a fresh set of coupons in the mail. Without them, I probably would not go here because the food is overpriced for what you get. With the coupons, though, you can get a good deal.- Friendly staff that usually works very quickly.- Best items on the menu: the French Dip sandwich, mozzarella sticks, curly fries, and Arby's sauce.CONS:- Lately, they have been doing the McDonald's thing and having you "pull forward" to wait for your food. It's irritating. I am hopeful that this trend will not continue. If it does, I'll go elsewhere. This is my number one pet-peeve.- The drive thru is really weird and is hard to get added to the line if you are not entering from Mission Street.

The quality of food seemed decent, but you don't get what you paid for. The atmosphere is like a cafeteria, and makes it a little ackward waiting for your food in line. Don't get me wrong, there food is good, but a few adjustments could be made.

This was our first time stopping by this place. The locals said that the Super Soft Burrito was the best item on the menu so we ordered it. The prices were reasonable, the service was average and the burrito was rather bland (even with sauce). Just a notch above a fast food Mexican restaurant but not the best and not worthy of a repeat since I have had a much better lunch experience in the past.

This place is terrific. Excellent, handmade subs with choice ingredients. Big selection. Prices are average. Free sub on your birthday, too. We all should support this place. They donate some profits to local first responders.
