Stopped in for breakfast as our hotel did not offer breakfast, the employees were helpful and helped us out with our total lack of ability to speak French. Our pancakes were pretty good.

Nothing to write home about. This restaurant is located along side the busy highway, and has easy access. Service was good, meal was served very quick. The chicken was a bit on the dry side which could mean it was cooked a while ago. Salads were of small proportions, but tasted alright. All in all, stopping at a KFC sums it up anyway. Wasn't bad but wasn't great either.

Recommandé par les gens de la place câest une trouvaille. La guédille aux crevettes wow!Le prix, ridiculement bas. Une montagne de crevettes $9,25 comprenant des frites maison, une boisson gazeuse et une salade de chou maison contenant de petits poivrons verts. Pour les très gros appétit, un guédille géante aux crevettes $11,75. Quand ils indiquent géante faut les croire, câest gigantesque. Bien grillée, une salade aux fond du pain et des crevettes hyper fraîches. Il y a toujours foule mais il y a une salle a manger au fond que lâon ne devine pas de lâextérieur. Des tables à picnic à l'extérieur. Un bel accueil, le sourire. La place semble réputée pour sa crème glacée. Il y a une foule de plats au menu, vous commandez au comptoir et on vous apporte le cabaret. Allez-y sans crainte.

St-Hubert here in Matane is a good option, especially for those without a good grasp of French. You can order delivery or takeout on their website which is available in both English and French. The service is nice and quick and the food is what you can find at any St-Hubert throughout Quebec, New Brunswick or Eastern Ontario

A handy stop off for morning coffee, catch up with the emails on wifi and chill with the newspapers. Apparently this branch was best in Canada. Don't usually like these places and my daughter is hooked on Tim's but it's more than acceptableand the staff are friendly too.
