Lockport is a city in Will County, Illinois, United States, located 30 miles southwest of Chicago. The city was incorporated in 1853. It is situated along the Illinois and Michigan (I&M) Canal, and was the headquarters of the canal when the canal was operating. A section of the canal runs through Lockport, including the remains of the canal's Lock No. 1 from which the town received its name. The canal right-of-way is now the Illinois and Michigan National Heritage Corridor. Because of proactive efforts dating back several years, the city of Lockport is one of the best-preserved canal sites in existence today.

Joe's has been the perfect hot dog joint for over 40 years. Whenever I drive by I stop for a polish, fries and a drink (my wife shares my fries and gets a dog with everything). When you come in let them know if you want fries before anything else; that way you'll be able to order you "entree" while the fries are cooking. Joe's is a classic. Stop in if you drive by.

Had orderedbeef and roll for my Christmas family get together. Everyone loved,the beef . Also have stopped in several times by myself for take out beef sandwich. Cannot comment on the rest of their menu tho.

Located inside Water Tower Place, this is designed as a high end mall food court, with an interesting twist in that you get a card which is swiped at each place and then you pay on the way out. I liked the concept, and the wide selection of different classic Chicago food choices. However, we tried food from five different places and it was all very average. It would be a good choice for families with kids because it is fun and there is something for everyone, but it would have been better if the good was more memorable.

Windy City Grill has always been a staple fast food place in Romeoville ! their all American menu... burgers, hotdogs, etc excellent ! I also enjoy their gyros and now pizza is not bad !

As a McDonald's the food here is normal, good, fast food. Nothing more, nothing less. Coffee is always fresh and good. The double cheeseburger is always fresh and hot, as they have to make it up for you. My only complaint, and this applies to all McDonald's, is the amount of salt on their fries.

Basic Subway fare, nothing special there, however service is not very consistent, it's either their training, distracted or just not very good. Orders have to be repeated frequently and errors are very common. Really have to make sure that you watch what they are doing or your order will be wrong.

Much of Mexican American food is pretty hum-drum. A burrito is a burrito. But I really enjoy their soups. They're not a good as Chenchos in HG, but it's close enough to spare the longer drive. Friendly service

Extremely expensive for take out. Chips and dip not good, but quacamole made in the spot is great. Tried it 3 times. Don't care for it at all.
