Ordered our food through just eat at 19.30. We were still waiting at 22.00 for our delivery. After my wife rang the takeaway we found out that they had added an extra half an hour to our delivery time to be told they were 'stowed' off! My wife then tried to speak to just eat twice to be cut off, so she rang the takeaway direct to be met with all I can describe is foul, threatening and abusive language just as I was getting the delivery from the door. When I found out what had been said from my quite clearly upset wife I rang pizza pizza myself to receive abuse and threats to me after trying to point out no-one should be treat that way. I then tried to complain to just eat about our treatment to be met with - write a review, absolutely fascinating that you are an agent for this Neanderthal organisation who thinks they can threaten their customers when they take the liberty to challenge shocking service! No support whatsoever. Do not use this takeaway you will be disappointed and dare not challenge unless you fancy being verbally abused! Just eat take absolutely no responsibility for this traumatic episode!

I was so looking forward to some fabulous fish and chips after being away in Spain and being served processed frozen fish.I was definitely not disappointed here.Fish is amazing,so fresh and tasty.Everything was cooked to perfection and the oils used were obviously just right . 100% recommend.The owners should be proud.

Ordered through Just Eat for delivery ASAP and heard nothing for over an hour, eventually phoned to find out what was happening and was told that our order was "leaving the shop now". Almost half an hour later it eventually turned up. So all in all it was over an hour and a half from order to delivery.Food is average at best so we'll probably go back to using one of the half a dozen competitors.

Bloody awful!! Me & my partner were passing through this horrid town & thought we would look for a chippy, he had fish n chips I had battered sausage n chips, the batter tasted like plastic, there was dark brown oil in the carton, rock hard batter, I don't think the oil gets changed very often if at all, the sausage tasted bloody gross, I felt sick all day just thinking about it! Gross town and a dirty takeaway don't use this place! Its f@c*ing disgusting!

I've been a regular here for several years and have never been disappointed. The portions are enormous. Give them a try. You also get to choose how you want your fish when you order. Try with curry sauce on your chips mm mmmmm
