I always love tapas as it means you can have a bit of everything...I hate choosing off the menu! My Dad always moans about tapas in England though as it costs about 5 times what it would in Spain...& heâs probably right! This place was great though; it had a lovely Spanish & family owned feel; the prices were more than reasonable (we had 7 dishes & 2 double G&Ts for about £60!!!); there was fresh bread & olives; and most importantly the food was delicious! Do be warned of the green peppers though...super spicy!!!

I have reviewed this restaurant on several occasions over the years, and each time I have praised it. We booked for Sunday lunch on 1st September, and have to say the quality of the food was superb. The restaurant was almost full when we arrived at 1.30pm giving a good atmosphere. We were shown to our table, and offered the wine menu. We were brought bread, water, and olives, and given the menu. Both my wife and I chose the soup of the day, as we had chosen soup before, and it was always excellent. My wife chose whipped ricotta (another starter) with garlic mushrooms. and I had the 2 course Sunday lunch which was soup and then fishcakes. Both meals were of the highest quality. Washed down with a bottle of Syrah Rose' it made for a perfect Sunday lunch. This restaurant is not pretentious in any way or over stated, but knows what it is about. The staff are friendly, and efficient. My meal including the discretionary 10% came to £73.15. Which is very good value. This is a top top restaurant.

This is such a charming little authentic italian restaurant. Greeted by very friendly staff - we booked a table in advance and I would definitely recommend doing that as it became full pretty quickly after we were seated. Excellent menu choice including specials - all sounded yummy. I opted for the seafood pasta which I have to say is the best I have ever eaten - plenty of mussels, large prawns and chuncky pieces of fish all in a delicious tomato and garlic sauce. Others had pizza which looked equally as good.Wine choice, although limited, was good quality at reasonable prices. All in all an excellent meal in nice cosy setting with knowledgable and friendly staff.

Dined as a couple for lunch using a groupon voucher . The restaurant is beautiful with high ceilings and stained glass windows . From the moment you are met and shown to your table to when you leave the staff are polite and attentive without being intrusive , service was excellent and they are a credit to the restaurant . We chose from the set menu and the food was delicious , the pork was tender and vegetables so tasty . The starters and desserts were also lovely . Thankyou to the chef and staff , we will definitely return .It is a pleasure to receive such an acclaimed paragraph of feedback felt after having been our guests at Marco Pierre White recently. On behalf of Kirsty and her entire team and Head Chef and Brigade, may we thank you for this most motivating Five star rating and recommendation. It was our pleasure having you attend. May we look forward to seeing you again. Our kindest regards to youMPW Management
