We get to town at 10 at night and there's not a lot of choice. This place has a menu del dia for â¬12 but it doesn't look up to much. What a lovely surprise!A superb fabada followed by grilled salmon and chips and ice cream to finish. The price includes bread and wine and it's actually a lot better than the other reviews.

We like this place especially because it was open all afternoon, unlike most places that close from around 5-8pm. With that said, our tapas were good and the service was friendly and helpful. One downside is if you sit outside, there may be a bad smell from all the sidre (cider) being drank and traditionally poured. The prices are pretty decent, as we paid about 40 euros for 2 fantas, 1 sidre, 1 Bacardi, and four tapas.Overall, I would recommend for eating outside of "normal" Spanish eating times.

The big writing on the signage is "Restaurante Marisqueria", so one might come here after reading the reviews for Restaurante Marisqueria El Campanu. There is also a Restaurante Marisqueria El Puerto. The word "marisqueria" means 'seafood'.All three are within 100 metres of each other, so confusion is all too easy. And for this place beware again. The gin and tonic was presented as a large glass full of ice, and a little gin.We had calamari frite for a starter, and that is exactly what we got - no frills. For main, we ordered the paella. What arrived was the crudest bowl of rice with some crab, gambas and shellfish. For this agricultural offering we were charged more than for a fine dining meal in Bilbao.Go up the hill to Sibariz where you will get lovely food in a refined environment for less cost.

It would be easy to get sidetracked into other port-restaurant experiences before reaching this marisquaria. It's really different. Fantastic service, excellent wine and really good fish. We had chiperones to start and shared a Besugo (sea bream) which was amazing. Wine excellent and reasonably priced. A really good experience.

Hard to belive, that in such a modest village, close to Ribadesella, you can find so great eatery, fulfilling all possible expectations: nice surroundings, tasteful decor, exceptional menu and perfect service.Pity, having only lunch visit experience, because the dinner would be even more impressive and memorable. The monk fish, we ordered was absolutely perfect and the dessert, candied figs with ice cream, hard to beat. The green, lush garden and fields around are unforgettable and the visiting the caves around, good target before the meal.

En temporada baja nos vamos a descansar para que la nueva temporada nos encontréis con nuestra sonrisa. ¡¡¡Nos vemos en el 2019!!!
Galician-born owner emigrated to London several decades ago and now runs his place with pride and lots of people-skills.His son runs the kitchen and doughter-in-law the tables. If you happen to be in the area you should not miss this place where you will feel welcomed at once.Menu includes the house-wine but you may prefer the winelist.

We decided on the tasting menu, with wine flight. The sommelier knew his trade and matched some very interesting wines with each course, the waiter also explained each course as we went along. There is purpose and passion here and it reflects in all that they aspire to. Compared to other starred places we have been to, this one is reasonably priced and worthy of its rating.
