Where to eat Fast Food food in Pushkar: The Best Restaurants and Bars
There are many roof top restaurants in town but the derby cafe has the best view. You can see whole of the barah ghat from here. I just wanted to sit here for hours and enjoy the beauty of the place. The food was also really good, but the prices were a bit high.
The cafe owners and lovely and enthusiastic. I got a waffle and cappuccino coffee - the food was prepared freshly in front of me, behind the counter, and was really tasty! The setting is really cute and perfect for watching the world go by!

This is clearly a new restaurant - only one review before I wrote this. They clearly are still learning and have a lot of work to do before their service and quality is up to a standard acceptable to a five star resort. We needed a break from Indian food so decided on pasta. We ordered 2 appetisers, a plate of fries and 3 pastas - not a complicated order. The waiter read it back to us leaving out one of the pastas: fettuccini Alfredo - so we corrected him. There was a flurry of activity in the open kitchen with up to six people staring at the order at one point. The waiter returned with the news that there was no fettuccini so I settled for spaghetti Alfredo. The appetisers came and were fine, followed by fries and two pastas. No Alfredo. We mentioned we were still waiting on another pasta and the waiter seemed confused. We repeated we needed one more pasta. It hadnât arrived after 5 mins then 10 by which time the others had finished their Luke-warm, overcooked pastas. We again mention the fact to the waiter who said it was coming. I called over the head waiter who seemed unaware there was an issue. Eventually he returns with my Alfredo and the âother pasta we orderedâ which we hadnât! Again, it was over cooked. When we arrived at 7pm we were the only group in the restaurant. There were only another 3 or 4 by the time we left. Any waiter with any sense would have noticed I was sitting with no food in front of me while everyone else had their pasta. In summary the food was mediocre, the service was poor and I would not recommend this restaurant.

I am so glad to have tried this restaurant. My Pushkar (holy city) trip would have incomplete without this meat. Sitting by the holy lake in a beautiful setting and eating delicious Indian food was topping my list of things to do in Pushkar . And this restaurant totally delivered. We love everything we ordered. We took a bunch of pictures by the lakeside. And we left extremely satisfied. Special thanks to mr. Ram Rathore (owner) who help us from menu items with sweat spoken thank you memorable day.
