Ristorante Pane e Olio

Finding a restaurant on a Monday night in Oristano is not an easy task. Even some of those advertised in trip advisor as being open were not. After we had wandered round for 30 mins we found this restaurant open. The meal was perfectly adequate ands elk prepared we would definitely return. The choice was very good and the service although slow was very pleasant and accommodating. There is seating inside as well as outside. Good value for money too.

Librid

We thought Librid looked like a very nice place for a quiet lunch. It is exactly that, but nothing more on our visit. There were only two other tables occupied when we arrived, but the unfortunate sole server was soon overwhelmed. She was a very nice person and eventually our food was served, but never our requested 2nd bottle of water. We never did get the two beers we ordered either, which was later explained as a problem with the tap. The daily special was described as a pesto pasta primi plate, followed by a spinach omelette, and finally a chocolate cake. All for 15 euros. The pesto plate was fine, but served cold. The 2nd plate, an omelette, was also served cold. The chocolate cake was stale and crusty, although the whipped cream was tasty. The setting was delightful, but that didn't qualify as enough to recommend it for anything more than a drink or a cup of coffee. Maybe if they had more servers.

Pizzeria La Torre

Firstly, have to check say that the service was excellent from our waiter but the food was disappointing. Decided to have a pizza, which seemed to have tinned mushrooms rather than fresh and not sure how long they were on the pizza for because they didn't show the signs of being in the pizza oven. The pork scallops was not that good, the wine sauce was too winey in my opinion. The cheap and cheerful house wine was reasonable. However, the whole place is dated. The toilets were not good, masking the uncleanliness with some bleach in my opinion. It needs ripping out and starting afresh or properly scrubbing brush around joints of toilet seat etc. Not pleasant. It was an expensive meal but I do question the cleanliness of the place.

The food was ok, but nothing special – I guess it is impossible to cook dorade badly:) We found the restaurant too expensive for what they offer: 4 euro for a little plate of fried potatos and another 4 euro for a carrot and a green stalk both cut in 3 pieces...

I never write reviews as i work in the same industry and been running restaurants for a few years in spain, italy and england.Always find sneaky when people leave a restaurant and write a review without telling the issues to the manager or servant... in this occasion i did and the manager told me to write 5 bad reviews if i wanted.1- unorganized table plan for tables booked, long wait2- no explanation or knowledge of menu from the floor staff.3- long wait to order drinks4- food order taken rushed5- long wait for main meal6- main meals at diferent times, my partner already finished when i got my pasta7- nobody checked if we wanted more drinks or if we are happy with the meal8- rushing us out as soon as we finish our meals9- when the bill came £53 for scampi.10- when waitress was "trying" to explain us the bill at least 5 memvers of staff shouted at her for wasting time with us ( they didn't know that i'm fluent in italian)11- we had to queue 10 minutes to pay the bill.12- the manager shouted to my partner when she tried to get an explanation.People maybe recommend this place as is new and the "place to go" but seriously if you are on holiday you respect your family and your pocket avoid this place... will ruin one night of that holiday that you've been looking forward the whole year.€35 expent pp just for a main and a soft drink with all the issues above.... really!?

If you are looking for a quiet, romantic meal, where the food is gorgeous, service is great, nice quaint and absolutely gorgeous little place is beautiful. It's more upscale than your "eat until you drop, quantity over quality place", in which case it's not the place you are looking for. However, if you're willing to pay the extra bit and have a gorgeous three course meal with excellent wine, and dessert to die for, this is it. Myself and my boyfriend, both restaurant managers in London were stunned by the place, made our whole day, not to mention the best dining experience since we've arrived. Bloody well done

I visited Da Renzo twice on my stay in Sardinia and both times the service was impeccable. The owners and staff are incredibly hospitable and insisted on giving us aperitivos and desserts on the house. The selection of fresh seafood is fantastic. All of the courses (and there were a lot of courses) were cooked to perfection. This is an absolute must for an unforgettable dinner, definitely worth the drive.

A great restaurant serving some of the best fish our family have had in Sardinia. It was also the first time we’ve seen sea anemone on a restaurant menu. Two of our group tried it, with the conclusion that it’s an acquired taste! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Oristano and want fresh fish.
