Visited based on reviews here and had 20 dumplings to share - the pork & beef; sauerkraut & mushroom; sweet curd, vanilla & berries; and the special which was lentil, mushroom & paprika. All delicious and for the savoury ones we had fried onions (not caramelisd onions as advertised) and bacon bits as topping. The pierogi are boiled rather than pan fried - would have liked to try the latter. Didn't try the soups but tried the non alcoholic beer which was very nice. Decor of the place is really warm and cozy and service was very friendly and efficient. There was a steady stream of customers when we were there. It's on the approach from the station to town, so definitely worth checking out for a taste of Poland. Would defo like to return when we are next in Chester!!

Food and service outstanding and an enjoyable meal from start to finish. The canapés, snack and brioche were all lovely. Quail and mackerel starters lovely as were the poached halibut and suckling pig mains. Petit fours and coffee delicious end to the meal. First visit to Mediterranean kitchen and definitely not the last. It's a lovely restaurant, very clean and well presented. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Food is lovely and large portions. My lamb kebab was huge and very tender and delicious. Good choice of drinks too and the price was very good value. Highly recommended

Check in was speedy and efficient, room very clean and spacious. Hairdryer and kettle both worked well and tea tray well stocked. Breakfast -now buffet style, was very good, a choice of cereals and fruit juices and full English. The staff were constantly replenishing items as they ran out and cooked food was of good quality and was hot.\the hotel is in a good position on the edge of the village within easy walking distance of Little Sutton and handy for trips into Liverpool and Chester.

I'd never eaten in Caruccio's before but I was pleasantly surprised at the delicious food and outstanding service. You can see that everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order. We also ordered a side of veg which was a great suggestion from the waiter - Ethan. The portions are really generous, too. Having been to the sister restaurant we decided to try here. And to be honest, we prefer this one. It's a larger, lighter restaurant and the food was better. Our prawn and chicken wings starters were delicious as was the cod and mixed shish mains. Washed it down with a lovely shiraz. Staff are great and friendly and it's very good value.

I and my Son had a very pleasant meal at the restaurant overlooking the Canal. We both had the black pudding starter which arrived piping hot and was very tasty. We had different main courses, I having the lamb shank on a bed of mash served with seasonal veg and a rich gravy, my Son had the belly pork with looked very impressive indeed. We both agreed that the meals were delicious and arrived hot. The staff are friendly and attentive also the restaurant is not too big with a cozy vibe.
