We were here a couple of days ago for lunch. Service excellent, very friendly and attentive. Such lovely, freshly prepared food. Plenty of it,too. nice setting on the market place. Maybe the tablecloths could do with a wash from time to time , Not to worry, the food made more than up for the lack of laundering.

On recommendation by other tourists while walking through the town we did go there and got the last table in the beer-garden.There were nice people all around and the waitress was very friendly. The drinks arrived in no time and the food was exceptionally good. To split the bill was no problem, the waitress had an iPad and could do it in an instant - world class technology in a tiny town.Well worth a visit.
Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

This restaurant has a typical bavarian beer garden. Quite nice for summer. Food was good and good value for money. However service was lousy. They mixed up our order, brought different things than what we ordered and forgot several items. But when we got the food, it was good.

By day 8 I was getting tired of the heavy German food so we decided to eat at Café Raffaello for pizza. Instead of ordering two pizzas we got a larger size for 4⬠more which was plenty for the two of us, I usually can't finish a whole pizza by myself. The pizza was good and had ample toppings, we got the cacciatora with pizza and ham. It was a rather warm day so I saved a bit of room for ice cream, there's a large menu of ice cream creations and I got one with bananas, chocolate, whipped cream and 2 flavors of ice cream and it hit the spot. My husband had apple strudel, I would not recommend it. Like all the places we ate, the waiters were extremely busy but the service was quick enough and the setting on a sunny warm June day was relaxing. The total for lunch was 29⬠for 1 large pizza, 2 beers and 2 desserts.

Lamm shank tender and tasty. Moussaka also tasty and good portion size. Tomato soup tasty but contains barley which was not a problem for my sister but would have been a problem if ordered by my gluten free wife. Service and atmosphere good. Would definately come again.

We were passing through and stopped for lunch. Our waitress was helpful and efficient and provided us with English menus. This is a conveniently located restaurant right on the main street through town with both indoor and outdoor seating. It offers traditional German food and it does it well. You'll find an extensive menu with all the German specialties. It is well worth your giving it a try.

There is an indoor restaurant, but on this warm summer day, we ate outside in the courtyard. About half the tables were occupied, but a wedding reception was in preparation stages. Perhaps that was why the service was a bit slow. The regular menu was what you would expect from a gasthaus - not too long and not too adventurous. I ordered the Schnitzel Gorgonzola (because I am adventurous) and my wife had the featured Leckerle, a pan fried cutlet. Both were of good quality, but neither was anything out of the ordinary, quality wise. Prices were in line for a Gasthaus. We were neither disappointed nor enthused. We can recommend it as an average restaurant in a lovely setting.
