This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem! Food was authentic German & simply amazing. Family that owes and runs restaurant were VERY friendly. Meals are large portions, left feeling full.Highly recommend, donât pass this one up.

Habe dort mal einen Döner probiert, da mein lieblings Döner in GroÃ-Gerau leider Sonntags Ruhetag hat. War OK, aber der andere schmeckt mir trotzdem Besser. Freundlicher Servcie vom Team. Guten Appetit

This was our first time and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was first rate, plentiful and affordable. I had the Rattsherren Schnitzel, which was covered with mushrooms and cheese baked over top. Amazing! My mom had the Flammkuchen, which I tasted of course, also amazing! My Dad had the Pfefferrahm Schnitzel, which I also had to taste, another winner! We also had their Paulaner Dark beer, which my Dad can't stop raving about, of course I liked it too! My parents live nearby, I come to visit them and look forward to a traditional german meal out and this one ranks up way high on my list of favourites locally.

It's a fairly typical German restaurant. It only has a small selection on the menu but what they serve is tasty and typical German food from this region. The atmosphere is rather typical for this kind of location as well, do not expect anything too fancy.

We stayed at the Best Western Frankfurt Airport on 30 October and had dinner at Zur Scheune on 30 October. The steaks were marvelous. The restaurant was a little difficult to find but is adjacent to a pay lot. After dinner we enjoyed a quick walk through the village.

First you have to find out the business hours, second you have to find seats!The choice of wine is good from regional products to the whole world.The salads are huge and tasty, the other meals make you curious. There are paintings wich can be purchased and the atmosphere is pleasant.
